Glad to hear we just sailed NCL out of Boston in the Haven. Very disappointed in breakfast and lunch venues MDR was hit or miss the buffet was good. Looking forward to Carnival your food porn is great. Hope we have the same menus in Aug./Sept. looking forward to trying so many new items.

We don't use the app, phones are locked away on all cruises except one when we get off the ship in case of emergency. Really hope they have the ship maps.

Ok we have 84 more days. Hotel - Booked Holiday Inn Express West. Amtrak - Booked Aug. 30 Arrow early train Boston to NY. (RT Sept. 8th afternoon). Cruise - Final payment completed, still waitlisted for early dining. Excursions - Booked, after much flipping back and forth hubby made some suggestions. Anybody know if we can leave our bags at the hotel before check in? We have done this many times in the past at other hotels but haven't stayed here before. Check in is at three but will be there by noon and want to go to visit the Intrepid. The other option is to leave the bags there early the day of and go to Intrepid the back to hotel for bags then back to port to board. Aug. heat in NYC, not a fan so first option would work best. Still don't plan to go to the ship before noon or later, no cabin before 1:30. Anybody following the live posts? Have a good day, Laura

No ice in the cabins? Never been on a ship without ice. But if I ask they will bring it to me do you know if this would have a service fee? Thanks for your posts.

Wow, have never had to turn over our passports? Just lucky maybe, we have done the British Isles four times each with Ireland as well as a Baltic cruise in 2018 only had to show our passports when we went on our tours both days in St. Petersburg no place else.

Guess most of the lines appear to have gone to the drab generic metal rails and stairs. Sad I miss real productions, hope Carnival dancers are better than the last two lines we sailed on since things have picked up.

Thank you so much was getting a little nervous. Haven't go to Manhattan for a few years. We always take Amtrak from Boston then grab a taxi to our hotel or the port. Use to walk sometimes but can't manage this now.

Well 89 more days. Looking at shore excursions below, has anybody done these or heard anything about them? Amber Cove DR - Mountain View and City Tour, list a walk from the garden down hill to the bus, but you drive up the mountain. Grand Turk - Duck Boat Tour. Half Moon Day - Eco Lagoon Tour, we won't be going to the beach and was looking at something easy no water involved. Have a good weekend, Laura

Saw a video on you tube, these look like sheltered balconies. In front of your balcony is a flat open area so not looking directly down into the water. Video showed crew members cleaning this area.

I am lucky I don't ever pay my TA in our booking it shows the dining MTD the one we need to book each day. Did this only once on another line we had to call daily for a time, then they went to a different system thankfully we go our early back on that trip when we boarded. I will keep having this checked and will go to the dining area once we board. Though I think the Grand Canal is a beautiful dining room. Thanks

I have been having TA call every couple weeks still nothing. Couldn't find anything on my booking as well to make a change on my own.

I for one can say I Love upstate NY. We visit every year from Massachusetts. Absolutely beautiful.
