Thanks! I had a quick "freak out" moment that the only thing the 2 of them would be able to do is stay in their room while we are out and about which is what we are trying to avoid (they are boyfriend and girlfriend). Glad to know they can come hang out with us (aka....we can keep an eye on them...lol).

I will be traveling with an 18 year and 20 year old. I know they can't go to the teen club since it is 17 and under. Will they be able to go into the lounges, bars, and Viking Club at night with me? I know they can't drink, just wondering if they can get in and hang out with us. If not, is there any nightlife for 18-20 year olds?

Thanks everyone!!!

I was wondering if you are allowed to vape or use Ecig in your stateroom. Also, do they make you go to the smoking section on the ship to use Ecig or can you use it outside by the pool? My husband quit smoking cigarettes and switched over to the Ecig. I know at football games he has to go to the smoking section which bothers him since he quit and being with cigarette smokers makes him want to smoke again. I just thought I would ask the question so he knows beforehand and can be prepared.

Me and my husband along with my daughter (18) and her boyfriend (20) are going on a cruise with us. My daughter is booked in my room and her boyfriend is booked with my husband. Since neither of the boyfriend's parents are traveling with us do I need to get his parents to give us a notorized travel form. Some portions of the website refer to a minor as 18 and other portions say 21. I just don't want to get there and not be able to board. I know I could bring the letter in case but would rather not bother his parents if I don't have to (they are VERY difficult to deal with). Of course I have had no response from Royal Caribbean when I emailed them (so I could have it in writing).

Just wanted to double check, but I am assuming the doors on the Enchantment are metal? I want to decorate the outside of one of my friends doors on our upcoming cruise for her birthday. I have a slew of magnetic tape and wanted to make sure the doors were metal.
I know I'm pressing my luck here, but, does anyone know the approximate size of the doors (atleast the width)?

YAY! I'm very excited to follow along since me and my group are on the April 2nd sailing and I've not seen much post dry dock, or since they moved the cabanas in Cococay. Looking forward to this thread!!!!! Enjoy your cruise!!

So, I have a group that needed 2 cabana's. Unfortunately we were able to only get 1 cabana. They sold out before the 2nd half of my group could reserve theirs for the April 2nd sailing.
My question is, if I try to get the cabana closest to the cabana cove entrance is that kinda close to any public loungers to where we could still communicate and see each other and stuff rather then be completely seperated? I know we can't hang out together in the cabana but if it was close enough we could still see each other and maybe yell to each other...lol
Going for a friends birthday and the "friends" were able to get the cabana (which is also the cabana the birthday girl is in), the "sisters/cousins" were not......if you can see my predicament.

Thanks! No, the 1 year old won't have a car seat, but I was just told she may end up having her sister watch the baby instead of taking her on the tour. I think we might go with the cheapest. Not only is it the cheapest but you don't have to pay ahead of time. They just want you to pay cash when you get there. So if the ship is late into port or he is a no show no one is out any money.
-
Thanks! I thought of that but someone is bringing their 1 year old and doesn't want to walk the whole time and of course the group has decided to stick together. Gotta please everyone....lol.

We are a group of 14 taking my friend on a Royal Caribbean cruise in April for her birthday. One of the ports is Nassau. She wants to do some type of highlights tour. I have narrowed it down to the 3 below. Has anyone been on one of these to know if one is better than the other? Or how reliable # 2 and 3 are since they aren't affiliated with the ship. Or any comments at all? Any and all help appreciated.
1) The Essential Nassau tour through Royal Caribbean
2) Big Mama's Highlight Tour
3)Tyronne Highlights

I have seen many threads that recommended the bungalow's over the cabana's due to the location to the water. I have seen they recently moved the cabana's to a new location.
Is the recommendation still for a bungalow over cabana or is it now cabana over bungalow due to the cabana's new location?

Good afternoon! I wanted to rent 2 bungalow's or Cabana's. I see that they are limited to 6 people each. We are a party of 13 adults and a 1 year old. Do they enforce the 6 people limit? We just don't want to have to get another for the 1 year old and mom but we also don't want to tell them they're the only ones in our group that will be excluded.

Trying to decide on a glass bottom boat tour. Has anyone been on either of these? Is one better then the other? Recommendations?
-
So, I see mixed reviews on this excursion. Of course the birthday girl of the group I am with wants to do this. Is it as bad as the bad reviews say it is? If so, any other glass bottom boat tour suggestions?
-
My group wants to do a hop on/hop off excursion in Key West. On the RC site it shows 2 of these. The trolley and the conch train. Has anyone tried these? Is one better than the other? Will they allow a 1 year old?

There is a group of 14 of us going on Enchantment in April for my friends 40th birthday. I'm in charge of planning....lucky me. Does anyone have any suggestions for little goodies I can leave in everyone's room that would be useful? Such as, coozies, magnets to decorate door, post it notes, etc....

No, didn't want to share my husband's package with more than one person. Just wanted to give it to 1 person that's not in my room. Maybe I'll just get the 1 package for my room and then see if I can just give them a $200 credit so they can at least get $200 worth of drinks.
-
Oh, didn't realize there was a picture. I wanted to get 1 package for me and 1 package for them so at least 1 of them could drink without keeping track. Or do you think they would let me just get 1 package for me and then 1 package for them? I'm still getting 2 packages just not in the same room. Maybe??

We are a party of 12 going on a cruise. My husband doesn't drink alcohol at all. Of course, I do. The other 10 people all do. 8 of them are going to get the drink package.
I have a couple who do drink but they just adopted a baby and can't afford the upfront cost of a drink package right now. To help them out a little financially and since I want a drink package but my husband doesn't drink do you think it would work if I got me and my husband both the drink package but then on the cruise gave my husband's seapass card to one of them when we are hanging out so they can get drinks with his package?
-
I see there are beach bungalows, cabanas, beds, etc....on CocoCay. We are traveling with a party of 8 people. Is there anything available for 8 people? Everything I see is for 6 and I don't want to have to pay the price of an additional bungalow or cabana just for 2 people.

Does anyone know if this is in the new section and if it has the shower door instead of curtain?

So, my husband doesn't drink alcohol and I don't drink soda. I was thinking of purchasing the deluxe drink package for myself so I can have my "fun" drinks. I was thinking about ordering the soda package for my husband but then realized soda and the refillable cup is included in my package. Would i be able to just give him my soda cup to use for the length of the trip? Therefore saving a few $'s so I don't have to purchase 2 drink packages. Also, how many bottles of water do they let you have at a time? I would like to take 2 with me when we are in Nassau walking around.

I am currently looking to get an interior, mid ship cabin on this ship. I was looking at the following cabins: 3075, 3571, 3577, 3579. Someone told me they thought 3075 and 3571 were smaller than the others. Has anyone stayed in these cabins or do these cabins seem to be ok? Does anyone know if they have the shower door instead of curtain?
Babies/Toddlers pool question

I see that diapers, swimmers, pullups are not allowed in the regular pools. Can they be in the splash pool on Enchantment. I have one person bringing her 15 month old who plans to stay on the ship and I'm not sure how to tell her the baby can't go in the pool. I thought if she could go in the splash pool it might soften the blow.
