Looks that RHAPSODY stays overnight in Darwin.

When her next port is Bali, so she goes eastbound - that could be one of the repositioning cruises to Europe...

I've never been on RCI so far, but as far as I watched it, I often saw that RCI sometimes cancels or changes itineraries - especially the "final routes" of the booking season...

50-60 days? Why not? I thnk it is possible. I do not know how long CELEBRITY SOLSTICE needed from Europe to Australia via Asia in late 2012...

Lets assume she will do several repositioning from Australia to Med for 50 days, all in all...

maybe before she heads to Rome she will depart from Venice or Piraeus/Athens.

The 21st of November, I think there's the big UK-announcement - hopefully there it will be mentioned where ANTHEM is going to sail!

I think we definitely keep up the Talk! :D of Course if there are any News on RHAPSODY! But I think the cruise schedule of Rome tells a Lot! I also think it's a pity that RADIANCE offers such a boring Hawaii itinerary. Hopefully in September 2015 she offers a better one!!

I also think the RADIANCE Hawaii itinerary is quite boring - it's not worth the long flight to Hawaii... RCI should have shortened the Transpacific and spend more nights on the Hawaii itinerary...

Or booked passengers on RHAPSODY will be re-booked on one of the new itineraries for RHAPSODY which she will offer from April/May 15, which are currently not announced...

Imagine the Panama "desaster" of CELEBRITY CENTURY, scheduled for Feb 2014. Imagine how long it took until Celebrity informed the booked passengers and provided a solution... :rolleyes:

Maybe some of the affected passengers who have booked RHAPSODY in April/May 2015 will be re-booked on RADIANCE.

Seems that RHAPSODY will not offer the Transpacific/Hawaii cruises... :o but since she is listed in Civitavecchia, she does not seem to stay year-round in Australia/NZ.

So, Tahiti to Hawaii to Panama Canal to Florida to Europe... one can dream:D

Okay. But imagine how long ships need to travel from the Med to Australia. Via Suez Canal, Middle East, India and Asia, before they reach Australia.

IMHO it does not make sense that RHAPSODY returns to Australia/NZ after her Europe season...;)

Maybe MARINER replaces her - she is rumored to go to Australia/NZ soon...

BUT Allure of the Seas moves in Civitavecchia are gone. She is not going to Civitavecchia every Thursday from May 2015 to late October 2015 according to Rome ports.

I have also seen that ALLURE has disappeared from the list - same with ANTHEM. Several weeks ago she has been listed in le Havre and Villefranche but now she also disappeared from there - maybe RCI does not want that "everyone" knows that ALLURE and ANTHEM come to Europe in 2015 until RCI has announced anything...

Probably those ships will added to the schedules later again. ;)

What I also could imagine is that RHAPSODY sails in the eastern med from Venice or Piraeus (Athens) until July 2015 and than she moves to Civitavecchia...

cruising through the canal of Venice is a great experience!!

Could be an argument... others, e. g. Celebrity, HAL, NCL,... are in Victoria from 6 pm to midnight, and NORWEGIAN JEWEL 02:00 pm - 09:00 pm...

Maybe an advantage of the itinerary with three ports is that a full day for the Tracy Arm fjord is planned. :)

I didn't do a daily search after she dropped off the schedule at the end of August - I wonder what itineraries she'll be doing? I don't think that we'll follow her around the world unless she has some longer itineraries than 7 days from RT Rome to Greece, as the summer schedule seems to indicate.

I assume in summer she will offer 7-night-Mediterranean trips which on NAVIGATOR operated the last years...

In fall she could do the 9-night-itineraries out of Civitavecchia, which SERENADE will offer in fall 2014 out of Civitavecchia.

It lokks that RCI might deploy eight ships in Europe in 2015 - ALLURE, ANTHEM, ADVENTURE, SERENADE, BRILLIANCE, RHAPSODY, SPLENDOUR, LEGEND.

Yeah, I also could imagine that two Radiance-class-ships are perfect for Alaska - according to the port schedule of St. maarten, JEWEL returns to San Juan in somewhat of November 2015 - maybe she'll do some interesting Panama cruises between west coast and San Juan. :)

Let's hope that JEWEL offers a better itinerary out of Seattle with four instead of three ports...

It isn't the most user friendly search. Day by day...but did you notice the last day Rhapsody will be in Civitavecchia? Oct. 30, 2015 which to me would mean she begins her repositioning to somewhere back in the states. I think that's too late to go back to Australia since their summer season begins sooner.

 

And RCI has Splendour of the Seas leaving Civitavecchia for the last time that year on November 18.

Hooper, that seems to be right... the other comapnies do not have sooo many classes as RCI.

Okay, to deploy MARINER or VOYAGER via Transpacific to Alaska could be possible... but I think JEWEL has the right size for Alaska. :)

Where else should JEWEL go, if not Alaska? She is not listed in St. Maarten during the summer period, so between May and Nov she is not likely to sail out of San Juan...

Why not JEWEL and RADIANCE??

Several years ago (until 2009), RCI deployed SERENADE and RADIANCE in Alaska - NCL still deploys NORWEGIAN JEWEL and NORWEGIAN PEARL there, and HAL WESTERDAM, OOSTERDAM, ZUIDERDAM, Princess CORAL/ISLAND PRINCESS.

Also Celebrity deployed teo sister ships there long time ago (MILLENNIUM/SUMMIT and INFINITY).

I think it would definitely make sense to deploy to Radiance-class-ships there. :)

Which other ship could replace RHAPSODY?

EXPLORER seems to stay at Pt Canaveral and she cannot pass the Panama Canal due to the bridge, the final cruise of VOYAGER in April 2015 ends in Singapore... ;)

springaussie, so you mean Quantum or Anthem? Anthem should be finished in Spring 2014 (April or May, as far asI know). Piepkorn, that would be nice to have some Panama cruises between San Juan and west coast of USA. :) which other ship than Jewel could replace Rhapsody in Alaska?

As far as I know, NCL deploys two ships year round in Europe - JADE and SPIRIT.

It is likely that SERENADE offers all the itineraries in 2015/16 (Baltic, Norway, TA, Canada/NE, Caribbean) which LEGEND offers in 2014... so RHAPSODY should do "new" cruises.

But Tampa sounds logical. Maybe she also does some short cruises out of Ft Lauderdale during the winter period. :)

To be honest, it does not matter at all for me which ships sail the Mediterranean itineraries in 2015 - for me it is important that SERENADE comes to Scandinavia (hopefully from Hamburg) and to Canada/New England!! ;)

It seems that RCI only deploys Vision liners in the eastern Med in 2015: RHAPSODY, SPLENDOUR; LEGEND.

And in the western Med in 2015 might sail: ALLURE, ANTHEM, ADVENTURE.

According to rumors, MARINER is scheduled for Australia/NZ. Maybe she replaces RHAPSODY and RCI deploys MARINER, VOYAGER & RADIANCE in Australia/Nz from late 2015...

In Europe it looks like this for 2015:

ANTHEM: Med from Southampton

ALLURE: Med from Barcelona

ADVENTURE: Med/Baltic/Norway from Southampton

SERENADE: Norway/Baltic from Copenhagen, Stockholm, Hamburg

BRILLIANCE: Baltic/Norway from Harwich

RHAPSODY: Med from Civitavecchia

SPLENDOUR: Med from venice

LEGEND: Med from Barcelona (longer cruises)

I believe she was on the repositioning trip to Vancouver that has dropped off the schedule.

Looks that RCI plans a series of new repositionings for RHAPSODY in spring 2015: maybe Sydney --> Singapore; Singapore --> Dubai; Dubai --> Suez Canal --> Mediterranean.

So the only ship which offers Hawaii cruises in 2015 is RADIANCE - at least in spring 2015.

Let's see what is offered in Sep 2015...

Seems she sails 7 night eastern med itineraries between July and Sep 2015.

Between Sep and Oct/Nov she seems to sail longer 9 nighters - maybe those which SERENADE offers in 2014 from Civitavecchia.

Also LEGEND OF THE SEAS is listed every 12th day in Civitavecchia/Rome - looks like she sails the 12-nighters which SERENADE offers in 2014. So SERENADE and LEGEND seem to be swapped - SERENADE Norway/Baltic and LEGEND Mediterranean.

The ship which could replace RHAPSODY in 2015 out of Seattle could be JEWEL.

So in Alaska we could have RADIANCE between Seward & Vancouver and JEWEL from Seattle...
