Good Evening from the Zuiderdam We have just had 3 wonderful days in Ireland. Weather has been great. Today we were in Belfast and I went to the Giants Causeway. Certainly got my workout ! Yesterday was Dublin. There were high winds and the surf was high so tendering was delayed. Didn’t go to open tendering until 11:30! We were just on our own so didn’t care but many were upset. What can you do about weather?? As it was I ended up just going into Dun Laugherie by myself. We did not want to take DD on the tender. So now tomorrow is a sea day. Yeah!! We are currently on the Zuiderdam for the VOV. We had “cake me away” about a week ago. it was a fun event.

Good Evening from the Zuiderdam We had a wonderful warm and sunny day in Rotterdam. This morning I walked over the bridge and into town. This afternoon I went on a tour to the windmills. Really enjoyed it! @Sharon in AZ thank you for the Anniversary wishes. We very much enjoyed the Pinnacle Grill. DH had the lamb chops and myself and DD each had the scallops. Service was wonderful. We are going again on Friday with some people we were friendly with on our last cruise. Small world! Stay safe and enjoy today Charlene

My neighbors have told me that it mostly bypassed Cocoa Beach except for a few heavy showers on Sunday. The golf course is open which says a lot! Today is our 46th wedding anniversary. Good Evening from the Zuiderdam It was a rainy day here in Oslo. We put on our rain gear and headed out but it was not pleasant. So we walked back to the pier and took the HoHo. Much bettter idea for a rainy day. DD is a trouper. She just kept laughing! We are currently waiting on some missing passengers. Not sure how long the captain will wait. Speaking of the Captain, he is so friendly and out there. He sat with us at the lido and we all just gabbed. Nice guy! @MISTER 67 have a wonderful cruise! Stay safe and enjoy today Charlene

Good Afternoon from the beautiful Zuiderdam Had a great day out today on a ships excursion to Godafoss waterfall, the botanical garden and Laufas house. I will attach some pictures. Really lucked out on weather. It was clear and sunny when we left, I only used a hoodie.,by the time we returned, it just stated to rain. But all is well. We just went thru Prince Christian Sound a few days ago on HAL. Outstanding scenery! Many ice bergs of various sizes. but all went well. beautiful area!!

Good Evening from the Zuiderdam We are getting ready to leave after spending a beautiful sunny day in Nanartolick. Weather was outstanding. I went on a ships tour to see all the icebergs. Then I returned to the ship after walking around a bit . Then DH went out. Not good for DD. A good day! A few pictures, hope they come thru. My connectivity has not been good tonite.

Good Morning from a foggy day on the Zuiderdam We are having a sea day today instead of Paamuit. Too much ice and bad conditions for tendering. We had the lido fun fair last night. There were fair like games fun food - cotton candy, fried dough , sliders, corn dogs etc. you won tickets which went into the drawing. Then they drew the tickets for prizes. Well the decision has been made- no Paamiut tomorrow. Dr Douglas gave a talk this afternoon and showed all types of pictures. He said this is like a 50 year event. So many schedules have been disrupted by the ice. We are going to cruise the fjords instead. Should be beautiful. We will try for Nanortalik on Sunday. Looks promising. Somethings are just beyond our control. there is a Lido Fun Fair scheduled this evening. Should be fun!

Good rainy morning from the Zuiderdam Today is a much needed sea day after 3 port days. We were in Red Bay yesterday . Great little place. Only 167 people live there. I walked all over, very hilly and windy. Tendering went very well. Didn’t wait at all! We will find out at noon whether we can get into Greenland tomorrow. Here’s hoping!!! TheADA is a great law. Things are improving but still have a way to go in some areas. Sometimes it is the little things that make a difference. @Horizon chaser 1957have a wonderful cruise! The port only allows. 1 tender at a time so it will be a very slow process today. Not taking DD over so I will go get a ticket and wait. Just want a look see. Stay safe and enjoy today Charlene

Good Morning from the Zuiderdam Beautiful day here in Newfoundland. Bight blue sunny skies and 61 degrees. DH is on an excursion, I will go when he comes back. Not very accessible for DD. Although they have brought a group of Labradors by the ship . She will love seeing them! Nice selection of days. We will be in Red Bay tomorrow. @StLouisCruisers beautiful pictures of the new babies! Excellent news for the family. This trip is going well. We have enjoyed the shows and the food has been very good. A lot of fish, which we like. Good Morning from the Zuiderdam Beautiful day here in Sydney. Currently 62degrees, bright sunny skies. we will be picking up more passengers and crew here that missed the ship in Boston. Heard some crazy stories yesterday from some that boarded in Bar Harbor. One couple flew to JFK and took an Uber to bar harbor for $1000.! She said they were desperate, no flights or cars. Captain cautioned us last nite about Greenland. Decisions to be made in the next few days. We will see. Hope all you Gorgeous Grandmas have a great day! Stay safe and enjoy today Charlene

Good Morning from the Zuiderdam Beautiful day here in Bar Harbor. We are waiting for open tendering to go ashore. We have no set plans so we are letting the crowd go first. Many passengers and staff missed the ship. We finally left Boston at 7:30 last nite waiting a few flights. some are boarding today and others in Sydney. What a nightmare for all of them. We flew up on Thursday so we thankfully were not involved in all that. Sandi @StLouisCruisers wishing you safe return home. All that driving after a wonderful vacation.
