What was the water temp and the air temp? I will be diving in Roatan, Cozumel and hopefully Costa Maya.

If I can't dive with SEa Sports Belize, then I won't dive. I won't pay the cruise line price.

Did you book the ziplining through the cruise line or privately?

How much did it cost?

If I can't dive Belize, ziplining sounds totally awesome.

Hi Terri I meet you and your friend David on Monarch in Dec about 3or 4 yrs ago. you were in the balcony next to ours and you introduce Jim and I to the Daiquiri's in Nassau. Hope you have a great cruise. Just got off Brilliance last week. Pat

I was on the 4 day on the 11th and had a great time. Had no problem with crew, food, or drinks. Loved the roastbeef sandwiches in the Park Cafe. My sister being the picky one with food had no problem and said it was the first time she had the standard steak that she could eat it with out complaint. You can't expect all the things like Quest, Love and Marriage Ect on a 4 day cruise. There just isn't time. I don't tend to eat that late at night so can't say about room service but have in the past brought things back from windjammer as a snack later in the night. For a positive guy I don't see much more them negative. I tend to make lemonaid out of lemons. I can always find fun on a cruise. And I have been on 30 RCC.

Just on Brilliance last week and we left Tampa at 4PM and under the bridge at 6:10 pm. It will be dark so picture aren't the best but pretty to see all the lights.

Helicopter ride in Juneau, landing and walking on the glacier, weather permitting. It was the highlight of our trip. We went in June many years ago, and the weather was spectacular.

I noticed on the Adventure in November that the bar receipt now just shows a total price for the drink, before it showed the drink price, tip and total. Is this to make you think that no tip has been added so you will add a tip?

Just got off Brilliance yesterday and the receipt showed drink price and tip and total.

Grandeur was the 1st cruise I took on RCC in 2000. It is a nice ship.Last time I was on her was 2010 and still in good shape. I love that RCC is now doing 3 days in Bermuda. Did that cruise in 2012 on Explorer with 3 days in Bermuda from New Jersey. You will love Bermuda. I would do it in a heart beat again.Even on Grandeur.

Call whomever you booked with and see if they will re-price it with the new OBC. In the past they have been letting folks do that.

 

Or can you cancel and re-book it?

Why would he want to rebook for more money and $100 OBC. the math doesn't work

They have. The cruise I was looking went up$100. since yesterday.

Been in Humps to see what all the rave is. OP I would not spend the money on it. Would for a Grand suite but not a Hump

I also collect ornaments from all my cruises for me and my grown kids. I collect shot glasses that I display and my sister collects beer bottle/cans of local beer in the islands we travel to. Been on more then 30 cruises in the past 14 yrs.

We are cruising on the Allure in February 2015 and booked the

Caribbean 'FastCat' 2 Island Snorkeling and beach getaway excursion a few months back. Then I received an e-mail from RCCL stating that they had cancelled it and are refunding our money. Has anyone booked this excursion and then had it cancelled?? It is still listed on the Cruise Planner as an available excursion. :confused:

 

I never book excursions before I get on board anymore because of that reason. I'll see some thing I'd like to do and when I get on board it's not listed anymore. Now I wait and get in line with everyone else.

You can cancel a cruise with no penalty within 24 hours

She booked more then 24hr ago and is past final payment.

I've been on 29 cruises and never an upgrade.

Great review. love the photos. What pier did you dock at in Cozumel? I'll be on Brilliance in 2 wks. Been told it will be the international not downtown pier.

The person I travel with alot is also D+. We used my BOGO the 1st night and the other the next night. Was glad not to let one go to waste

Thank you all! I spoke to the planner who told me the 8am time is ship time but Cozumel is an hour behind so it will only be 7 on the beach. She bumped it to 10am ship time though since I was so wound up. LOL. She also suggested I speak with guest services to see if priority debarkation is available for that day. Out of curiosity, does the "clearance time" really mean when Royal expects to be letting people off? Of is it lingo for something else? Now all I have to worry about it getting to the ship from home. Please old man winter let us Hoosiers have a bit of a break so we can fly undelayed to Tampa! *fingers-crossed* I really wanted to come down a day early but between DD having finals and DH (giggles) work schedule, we couldn't pull it off. Thank you all again! Maybe some of you viewers will be on our sailing :)
