Oh yeah, me too. Canapes in the evenings at Hemisphere Lounge, pool deck parties with different buffets. Culinary wise the better days are gone.

That is true. It was better many many years ago. Now, Holland America is definitely an upscale experience compared to Celebrity for Dinner.

Hello everybody, our Connie Cruise is getting closer and it's been a while since the "turmoil" regarding the quality of dinner at the Oceanview Cafe at the beginning of 2023. Since we will be having our meals up there in the evening for the most part of the cruise, I'm of course curious and certainly grateful for any observations you made lately. Thanks in advance!

Hello everybody, we are considering a bid for an upgrade from oceanview to, at least, balcony stateroom. However, I found the starting bid of 400$ per person too expensive. Do you know if, once moveup is available, the bid suggestions are fix or do they get adjusted sometimes closer to the cruise or if the demand isn´t high enough? Thanks for sharing your experience.

While I am following this thread as well, I am curious about the water quality. All pictures I saw so far did not look appealing to me. Brown water, seaweed... Is this common?

Hello everybody, Sorry if this question has been asked before. We are thinking about a Celebration cruise. I saw the ship size, which is significantly smaller than the oasis class of Royal Caribbean and yet, the passenger capacity is about the same. Now my question to those, who have sailed on both classes of ships: Is the Celebration/Mardi Gras very cramped? How is the passenger flow and general impression of personal space. Always compared to oasis class ships. Appreciate your insights!
