On the Breakaway last January, the bowl games were not shown anywhere. Can't say about the Epic, but I suspect it would be the same.

It does seem to depend on the ship. It used to be that the specialty restaurants offered to have the dessert delivered to your room. On the Breakaway earlier this year, I asked about that option in Cagney's, and was told the room service charge would apply. So I think it turned out to be about $13 to have it delivered. I asked about taking it with us, and was told that was not allowed.

Yes, Joey died in 2017. I inherited him and Bear, who died just a couple of months ago, in 2010. Joey was the sweetest ever!

I'm asking you because you were on her so recently. Are there still shower curtains? I was on one a while back that still had shower curtains, and I was thinking it was the Sun. That said, we were on the Sun for 5 weeks in 2017, and we very much enjoyed the cruise. The crew treated us very well. We still liked hanging out in the sports bar, even though it is not like on other ships. It is at the aft instead of over the atrium, which made it not quite so loud.

I don't understand why you cancelled, and why you would have to break up to be able to go alone. Did she tell you that you could not go without her?

Yeah, my experience at a Wisconsin "fish fry" was basically just going to a bar/restaurant where fried fish was among the menu items.

Drink package is much cheaper on NCL, and no 15 per day limit!

If that is so, you may miss out on what you want due to being sold out. When I've booked NCL excursions before boarding, the excursion credit and Sapphire discount are automatically applied. Not sure how that would work with the double-up, but maybe you can get the concierge involved to help you book before.

That is the way it was when I was in school. I wouldn't want to have to go back to school in mid-August like many do in the US.
