  1. Thank you, but unless I missed it, it didn't explain "the code" if there is one, to determine what your cabin is, for example is 14251 a right or left bathroom? I always figured they interlocked and modular, but do not know how to tell which cabin is which
  2. I am booked on two different cruises, Luminosa and Celebration. But, was wondering if there are any general rules. I do remember one time, no idea which, when the couch was next to window and balcony
  3. May be a silly question, maybe not... But some balcony cabins have the bed near the balcony and some have the sofa by the balcony... Any way of knowing what's what? What you have beforehand? I'd prefer bed by balcony, so I can see from it from the bed in mornings or after a nice nappy time May odd/even tells the tale? Any known tricks from you agent types?
  4. I want to thank you all for turning me on to this electrical block. It was recommended on here because it is Carnival approved. I now have them all over my home and I am not giving them away as gifts. They're perfect. Flat cord makes it easier to hide or put up against furniture. Has 3 regular outlets, two USB and one USB-C plug Available on Amazon From Mifaso
  5. Seems to me, should designate the $$ from the incl
  6. Asian + Mexican = Chibang Italian + Mexican = Tomodoro Indian + Mexican = Mubexican? (For the UK fellers) That's the full cycle
  7. MDR steaks are likely not cooked to order. More than likely, it's sous vide to a lower hold temp, then unbagged and seared off on a griddle top for color. Known as a "reverse sear." Also helps make a little lesser grade meat more tender and moist. Too hard and too much time with so many orders to really do true cooked to order for every customer. Steakhouse will cook to specs from fresh.

  11. There's a fuel shortage at MCO It could become a problem, especially on long haul flights https://onemileatatime.com/news/orlando-airport-running-out-of-fuel/ Admin - I wasn't exactly sure where to put so folks fling in next day or so will see
  12. With Carnival, which seems to have more kids and younger adults.... Best time to cruise? Right after holidays? Right before holidays? Sept-Nov when kids are in skool? Spring the worst? Holidays the worst? When will you never go?
  13. Thanks I was in the neighborhood, but the wrong house.
  14. I would not do it on my own without telling GS If you tell GS, they'll make the necessary immigration issues possible for you to go home. You ask in advance, they'll say no, right out, not a thought
  15. BTW, I am on same cruise.....I can mourn Great Aunt Tuttie with you
  16. IMO, say nothing and fake a family emergency. They can't force you to stay onboard. Airlines are the same way, they refer to it as an "open jaw" reservation, and they discourage it. Open jaw is say having a flight that is MCO>DAL>LAX and you get off in DAL and not get on second leg in Dallas. Do this once or twice, no big deal, do it a lot and they can (and will) refuse service (fly you). But, hey, an emergency is an emergency....your great aunt tuttie died....awwww. You got to go, your family is heartbroken. Go to CS and explain you gotta go home at next port, you've arranged all the travel home.
  17. Well, it doesn't smell like a cigarette I guess it kind of smells like bunch of oregano and your lawn on fire at once
  18. Did I mention suck at math? I smoke weed and suck at math....
  19. Those are the rookie cruisers. We were all there once, thinking little hops to the Bahamas was so exotic....LOL Amateurs
  20. IMO, I think many overreact, like my wife does if she gets the slightest whiff of weed anywhere.
