  1. Thank you. No correlation. Some surgery I have been postponing has become more “doable” when the New England cruise was to sail. I try to be cruise line agnostic. That said, I do seem to sail NCL more than any other cruise line!
  2. If there are 400 chairs and 400 towels in empty chairs, that's 100% CHOGS
  3. Don't know about only 10% being chair hogs. Hit the pool area at around 8:00 a.m. Nearly all the loungers have towels on them and no people occupying them.
  4. This is from last week. Saw a lady who went nuts after her “stuff” was removed for being there at least 30 minutes that I observed! Couple got the crew to remove it after observing it, too!
  5. Again, due to operator error, my vid camera footage was all but erased. Ended up with this, which sums up this cruise rather quickly! 741120974961.mp4
  6. I did have a New England cruise booked for Sept, but canceled that. Am looking at Symphony of the Seas in October. Tried to join @debenson0723 and @Sugar Magnolia when they do a TA later this year. Have some surgery I need to do that interferes with that because I won’t be able to be gone that long.
  7. Unattended adjective not noticed or dealt with. "her behavior went unnoticed and unattended to" Guests can report those loungers, couches, chairs, seats etc that are unattended!
  8. Henry…sincere wishes for a speedy recovery!
  9. 2026? Wha? I don't start planning the following years' cruises until around Christmas. 😉
  10. It’s plastered on the big screen at the main pool area and I saw signs stating it in some other popular public areas. So, it’s obvious what the policy is!
  11. Been called many things. “Rule Follower” was never one of them!😂! But, there are some nice fares in Royal later this year on the Symphony!
  12. So, while this is an NCL board. the question about looking at other lines was put on the table. Yay? Nay? If so, ask to move this to another area of CC?
  13. Got to say, none of the fares are jumping out at me for the rest of this year. But, I'll keep eyeballing them.
  14. Never been in a library on any of my cruises that had a lot of reading material. Mostly, the libraries were small (as in not nearly what you'd find in your local communities) and was billed as a combination "library and card room". So, not a library in the traditional sense. That said, I know people who will read a book or two while on board and leave their copy in the library...which is always a nice gesture.
  15. 15 minutes is the limit....regardless of reason....per NCL policy. If there's a towel or personal belongings on a chair couch in the pool area, Waterfront area, Observation/Horizon Lounge, let a crew member know and they'll remove it. What someone says upon their return, if they return, is really an issue between them and the crew at that point.
  16. Can't be without "digestives". Below is Martha Stewart's definition of a biscuit. Then, there's this.......
  17. So, maybe some explanation is in order. There is a reason we did not post pictures of us. Nothing nefarious, mind you. Just very good reasons why we didn't. Further, NCL took away the "free" texting loophole we could use. And, unlimited WiFi is imperative.
  18. LOL! I've sailed MSC. It's been a bit, though. Just not my cup of tea, for a variety of reasons.
  19. Royalty is something you feel in your soul, not something you parade around in. You both exuded "tiara-ed-ness", ball gowns, jewel encrusted undergarments, without showing it.
  20. True on all counts. That will be a very nice cruise. I was in the Observation Lounge a couple of times. It was never crowded. @Sugar Magnolia was there more often, though. If she happens by, she would probably be a better resource. I have never been on an NCL ship that I disliked. However, the Bliss is probably my favorite. In retrospect, I don't think I saw one person dress up in a suit, or even a jacket, the entire time on the Joy. Moreover, Bermuda is known for Bermuda shorts being the standard dress fare. I get both irritated and amused by cruise lines' insistence that long pants be worn in certain establishments. The days of "formal", "semi-formal", etc are long, long gone. Further, there are other cruise lines that foster the "dress-up" type of restaurant environment (don't understand those, either). Book those if it's important to you.
  21. AWS does that ALL THE TIME…good people, too!
