  1. I have been cruising on Regent since 1992. I finally heard some Rolling Stones and decent classic rock on a Regent ship last year......
  2. @irishwitchy the ships offer the same wines with some exceptions. Here is the included wines from our March Navigator cruise. The reserve wine list is very extensive and pages upon pages of wines.
  3. For a regular cruise segment, I do not tip. For a Grand Voyage or longer, I will tip.
  4. Things can certainly get busy at the end of the cruise. If you throw in the Wi-Fi signal blockage, the ship should have given you all a few extra days to complete your survey. Throughout, the cruise, I keep a running list of staff and crew with position and location to mention in my survey.
  5. Hear is a more recent wine list from my March Navigator cruise. Wine lists between the ships differ due to supply chain and vintage changes.
  6. Yes, @asnaleah, the Regent survey must be completed while onboard the ship. I remember hearing the Cruise Director mentioning that and also seeing it printed in Passages. The last few days of a cruise are usually so busy. I do wish Regent would permit us to complete the survey after we return home. I did think @lonedaddy was mentioning the Cruise Critic review as the survey from the cruise is no longer live once exiting the ship.
  7. Hi @Lonedaddy Glad you enjoyed your Regent cruise. To write a review, follow these instructions. 1- Click on the gold and blue text above that says Cruise Critic. 2- Scroll down until you see Relive your cruise Vacation and click on “Write a Review.” 3- Begin your review.
  8. @doglover214 At most ports that are a short distance from the city center, Regent provides shuttles usually on a 30 minute turn around time. For cities a distance from port, you may need to book an excursion that is identified as a "Rome On Your Own," or "Florence On Your Own." These are usually no cost but return is a set time. With gasoline prices rising internationally, I doubt you will find a shuttle bus a distance from port. The ports you mentioned are 1-2+ hours from port. If these don't work for you, you may want to hire a private driver.
  9. Hi @Cruise Critic Chris I hope you enjoy Mariner. I was on the May 5th sailing. We had a great time with wonderful weather and fantastic animal sightings. I can tell you from experience, the best time to use the wifi is early in the morning, before 8AM, early afternoon when passengers are on excursions and in the evening after dinner. Have a blast!! Beth
  10. Agree with you @lastchamp64That should be one of the questions you ask when interviewing a new potential travel agent.
  11. The latest from Jason Montague on this topic.
