  1. Been to Blue Lagoon a few times and never noticed any places that one can order food. Noticed a bar by the pier, but never noticed if there was food served. In the past, took a tour in which a buffet was offered, but it's nothing to write home about.
  2. Only 7 and equals 1 point per night per passenger. If that was the case I would be pinnacle from all the cruises that I paid for my children/grandchildren. 🤣
  3. I have the opposite concern as I’m on a 12PM fight out of Bush and concerned. Will be evaluating a later flight.
  4. Looked at my CC today and all of my credits are accounted for. These were 3 packages for my Anthem Easter '24 sail.
  5. Any balance in refundable OBCs I usually convert to cash at GS on the last day of cruise as I know that I won't be using it.
  6. When is this effective, as I was doing a mock booking for a family cruise for Easter '25 and it allows me a solo supplement and the customary $188 D+ balcony discount. I wonder if I book it will Royal catch it.🤣
  7. They should be doing that automatically. Their data base probably has a lot of garbage with many dormant accounts due to lack of sailing and those that May Rest in Peace. I did not want to use the word death as I was criticized on a similar discussion of being macabre.😁 When Royal sometimes at the top tier events they congratulate themselves on the number of C&A members and always wondered how accurate those numbers are.
  8. Just for clarification. Children under 18 have their respective C&A number, but not a physical folio (account) that can be logged in.
  9. Thanks. I don’t mind pushing it up a month in June and allowing the second half of August as that is when the fare prices are often high, excluding Xmas and new year’s.
  10. When was this changed as I booked an on board sail in December '22 and got my solo supplement for an Anthem Easter '24 sail.
  11. Can you elaborate on this statement as I'm at the 340+ level and usually any changes/revisions I discover on good and intelligent people on this board.
  12. I had some issues with some of my old sails which showed 1 point which was the old points accumulations. Called the C&A desk and they corrected it. I find that the ship's LA are unable to resolve any issues of any magnitude. They do however correct any issues that arise while sailing.
  13. I know, but I tried to point to the post one of the many causes for the increases in the various levels.
  14. Not stuck really. I enjoy the Royal experience (new ships, entertainment, etc,) and including almost $1k in amenities on every sail. The big selling point is that I'm 25 minutes from port and don't have the hassle of flying. Why take a chance on NCL and Carnival sailing form NYC when I don't know their product and I feel comfortable with Royal.
  15. Royal Casino Royale resets every year on April 1.
  16. And there's a lot more that will book based on loyalty amenities. By the way, that is what freedom to choose is all about.
  17. Did the agent give a reason. She should have gotten a future cruise certificate for a deposit of $200 and if booked within 60 days she would get the OBC and have better luck with stateside agents. Ps. When I sailed Anthem in February, I booked on board a solo (solo supplement) for Columbus Day sail. No problem with agent.
  18. I agree wholeheartedly with your 2nd sentence but disagree with the 1st. If everyone was reset to gold there would be no special loyalty, therefore individuals would shop around for the best available experience.
  19. I was being facetious and pointing out some of the reasons why the proliferation of the many tier levels, especially Ds and Ps.
  20. So, you want to slow down the increase in Pinnacles--here' are some ideas--just make all reservations 1 point/night each and not double or tripled. Sail the repositioning ships empty so that a 15 niter does not accumulate from 15 to 45 points per sail. There was a poster that marveled that in past the repositioning used to sail at max 35-40% capacity. Now they are around 70%+. With more new and bigger ships, it's creating a larger cruising population which of course generate increase membership in all tiers. Also, passengers with means can afford the many suite cabins. therefore, reaching the upper tier levels at a quicker pace. To me, this is win win for the cruise industry especially since they are running at almost 100% capacity. Ps. If Royal was really concerned, they should not have had the double points promotions. Wonder, how many Pinnacles were created during this promotion.
  21. No kids fares that I'm aware of unless Royal runs kids free promo and this applies to those 12 and under. However, under this program, kids pay the full taxes & fees amounts.
  22. I'd like to know how many inheritors actually sail. I bet it's a minor, but Royal data base is overloaded with dormant accounts. Just like voter's rolls which need to be cleaned every so often.
  23. Yeah, except when you have 2 cabins and a child in each cabin and pay a 2nd person fare. Remember, Royal considers anyone over 12 to be an adult for fare purposes.
