Lucky for you. The carne assada on Mexican night was simply horrible. Dry and chewy. Rither the chefs are incompetent or a terrible beef selection Tonight is Italian menu and the appetizer selections leave a lot to be desired. Wonder if I can bring an antipasto from the WJ to the MDR. Presently sailing on Anthem.

I tried getting savory bites, but politely told by the Headwaiter - No. however, was able to change to marinara sauce for the linguini with seafood. This presently on Anthem. First 2 nights slow in getting entrees. IMO, has nothing to do with the new menu. Some at my table have threatened to go to the WJ. Headwaiter asked that it will be corrected. The irony is that our table is not too far from the entrance to the kitchen. Still long lines for MTD and that is the crux of the problem.

If it’s sold out, you get unusual and crazy prices.

Also, Symphony is replacing Oasis in ‘24. I agree with the airline pricing. Booked Harmony out of Galveston for early December. Got a solo Cp balcony for around 1k, but United prices for economy is close to $600. Comparable cruise prices out of Florida is close to &2k if I want to change.

OnAnthem presently and seated in Silk with 5 other passengers. Not a problem with menu items, but service slow in getting entrees serviced. The first night we thought it was one off, but it happened again last night. Some complained that if serviced did not improve they would dine in the WJ He told us to give it another chance. Also the discussion, covered the new menu and the loss of flexibility in the # of entrees. We mentioned that it was changed to speed the dining process, but the opposite in our case. He volunteered that the menu will be visited again in June. Don’t know if there’s been any pushback from passengers. Anyone heard anything on past or recent sails and experiences. By the way on 1st night had crab cakes and shrimp cocktail, whitefish as an an entree which tasted like flounder and ice cream for dessert. Had an issue getting coffe and went to the D lounge for a nice cappuccino. Last night had onion soup, calamari and linguini seafood. Asked for marinara rather than the cream sauce and was accommodated. Dessert was apple blossom and ice cream. Coffee was served with dessert withou me asking. So far no problem with the food quality. What a tremendous difference between the WJ experience between my recent Oasis sails and on Anthem. It’s like almost 2 different companies. Love the Anthem selection and and layout.

On my December 4th Oasis sail, I simply filled the request out and dropped in the box by the NC desk. When I got home there was an e-mail with the NC cert attached. Ps. They charged my CC before I got the e-mail.😜

I've been very successful in using the coupon on day 2 (usually night 2 is formal) and any other night xcpt lobster night. Any specialty restaurant will do, but I suggest you go to the restaurant that you plan as being the first. Few times I've booked at the Kiosk in the promenade, when boarding. Remember this coupon is per D+ member.

The receipt is the $200 deposit charged to the credit card.

It would have been nicer if it was a plastic bag (flexibility) as they do in hotels.

On my Oasis December 4the sail the laundry benefits is in the letter. The wash & fold is a special promo and notice is in your cabin. If I recall, the special is all of the laundry you can fi in the laundry bag, but I laugh as the paper bag is a bit small for a lot of laundry.😆

We started ailing with Royal in 1998 and had a C&A #. The points conversion to night occurred much later.

I'm waiting for the marijuana dispensaries. It should attract a crowd.🤣

You quoted family venues and I stay by my statement even though it’s called entertainment place. Most of the venues other than ice is adult.

The internet discount for Prime is 30% on plans. I'm D+ and use my 2 X 24 coupons first and then use the Prime discount on the remaining days of the package.

If you can afford it go for the gusto.😂

Could you imagine if instead of the Jazz Club, they expanded the casino to the D Lounge because of lack of attendance.😂

No, they are simply expanding the Casino. No one knows what the configuration will be. Will they completely close the entrance or another entrance to the casino. Therefore, possibly 4 entrances/exits to the casino. Regarding smoking, I have more of a problem with the smoking section by the pool. I make sure that I get a lounger on the opposite side. They should place a Plexiglass wall to prevent the smell from drifting to the pool area.

Wasn't this venue used as a lounge for the Pinnies.
