What I saw in a photo that a poster showed the Maine did not seem any bigger than the Caribbean warm weather type.
will experience on my upcoming Anthem sail.
The title of the topic is a bit off. The problem is not with customer service (not that I'm defending them) but with Royal's policy.
Many times, whether it's the normal CS, C&A or Casino desk they will defer to the revenue dept.
E-mail your frustration and disappointment to mbayley@rccl.com
No, they got it thru their parents. However, the parents or my kids do not have sufficient points to be D on their own. For my grandkids it's a title only as they get very little benefits from the C&A program, until they become adults and they will have earned it on their own.
If you know that your party is going to be late, just speak to your Headwaiter and he can make accommodations. For instance, on our October Oasis sail, we excursed to Disney World and knew that we would be late. Our Headwaiter on our early traditional dining made arrangements and when we showed up at 8:15 PM we were seated. Time of closing for MTD at that night was 9 PM.
Did the promo say new bookings only. I've booked on board many times and always got a price reduction. Did you do a mock booking and if price difference you can call and get it adjusted.
As others have said you can always get it adjusted, if any fare drop. The advantage in booking early, is that you get a cabin & location of your choice.
Can you tell me the difference between the usual 30/30 sale and the occasional 60% off 2nd Pax. That is what it's called around CC Dynamic Pricing.🤣 Now if the promo was a true BOGO, then it would ne earthshattering.
The 340 mark, which I reached the beginning of last year, reduces my overall cost and especially when you combine it with the balcony discount and Casino rewards.
It's not just getting a price. The pricing also is dependent on deck and cabin locations + promos and discounts like balcony, seniors, residency, etc. Also, for instance, on Oasis classes there are 2 types of balconies--neighborhoods (2) and the Oceanview balconies.
Some of these issues occurred on our October Oasis sail. The A/C and shower plumbing were not working properly in my son's cabin. They maintenance guys went thru a checklist--keep drapes closed during the day, make sure that the sliding door to the balcony is closed, etc. None of these solutions worked. The shower water temperature was always at the hottest mode.
Thank God no issues with my cabin as they were able to take showers there.
They went to GS and complained about the amount of time that it was taking to fix the situation.
After a few days the problems were corrected and for their inconvenience received $10% of the current cruise fare (- T&F) towards a future cruise.
No, they used to have them both for breakfast and lunch prior to the pandemic. They went by the name of Tutti Salad. However, you can order omelets in the MDR. When I sailed in September, there was a small omelet station manned by an individual that took your order and delivered to your table.
No omelet station on Oasis.
On recent Oasis and Allure sails, the entertainment folks were usually at Boleros to take face to face reservations. Also, look at the APP for any availability when you board.
