@CRUZBUDSWe will be taking the Carnival Spirit to Alaska for their 14-day itinerary in April of 2024. We have never cruised with Carnival but the unique itinerary peaked our interest. Have sailed to Alaska many times before and we are always looking for a new mix of ports so we decided to book it. Do you have excursions showing for your Carnival Miracle cruise (I am assuming you are going during 2023?). Just curious if anything was available to book during an April time frame.

Interesting comments, thanks for your input. Forgot to mention, I was not a fan of the pain with the needles. Some didn't hurt but others were painful especially the ones between my fingers.

Thanks for the post. We went to an arthritis seminar by the Dr. that performed the acupuncture. During the seminar she mentioned we all got a free 15-minute consultation and asked for our cabin numbers. DH suggested I go because I had some cracking in my neck so I did if he promised to go to the appt for an issue with his hand. We both went to the first appt. and the doctor performed the acupuncture service then she mentioned that she would need to see both of us 2 more times for a total of 3 visits --- yes, not cheap. I agreed to the second appt because I thought it might be working. However, when she wanted to set up a 3rd appt. I told her I really don't think I was seeing the results that she had lead me to believe. She then said that everyone is different. Well, I am home from our 5-day cruise and I can honestly say, I don't think it was worth the 2 visits --- hence, reason for my post as I was wondering if anyone had gotten any benefit from the service or was it just a "come on."

Has anyone done the acupuncture service in the spa? Would like to hear your comments about it if you did.

Just wanted to thank everyone who contributed to this thread. I sent in my proof of ownership of 100 shares of CCL stock on Sunday and the OBC showed up in my account today for my two upcoming cruises -- nice!

We were on this same cruise. We did notice lots of kids but we expected that for the time frame we chose to sail. Great cruise with no real complaints.

Before I book my cabin, I usually look at the Princess website and see what they have available. Next, I will go to my TA's website and look at theirs. If I find the cabin I want on the Princess website and it is not showing on my TA's site, I tell them I found the cabin I wanted on the Princess website and they will call Princess. I have never had a problem getting the cabin I want.

Thank you all for your valuable input, we appreciate it very much. Since we usually sail to Alaska a couple of times during the summer months, we will probably look outside that window for Hawaii. However, it is good to know what Hawaii would be like if we did sail during the summer months --- it is nice to have options.

@vivian02Thanks a million for the information, we appreciate it. DH wants to know if there are a lot of kids on board during July/August? Or, are the Hawaii cruises not usually done by families due to the larger number of sea days.

DH and I are thinking about taking a cruise to Hawaii -- round trip Los Angeles to Los Angeles. We already know there will be a lot of sea days so that is not an issue. Here are some of our questions that I am hoping we can get some answers to: 1. Best time to cruise: Are the seas better for cruising one month over another? 2. How about weather: What month would have the least amount of rain? 3. Would like to go on a whale watching excursion. What month is best for whale watching? 4. Is it possible to see an active volcano from the ship? Thanks in advance for your help.

I am new to Carnival. We have booked a cruise with Carnival for April 2024. We own 100 shares of CCL stock and was wondering if Carnival has a form to fill out in order to get this onboard credit. If they do, where would I be able to get a copy of it? Thanks in advance for your help, I appreciate it.

Thank you. Do people feel comfortable using this form of transmittal? Or, should I explore another avenue? PDF and email seem the easiest way.

Is fax and snail mail the only way to submit your CCL stock information? Can I put the information into a PDF and then send it to an email address?

@AtlantaCruiser72Oh dear. Hopefully, it will work out when we sail in July. If not, I am going to be very miserable. I am short and water gets into my ears from fixed shower heads. I have tried plugs and that has not helped in the past --- end result has been ear problems. I have been able to use the hand held shower heads before on the Star Princess. Have never been on the Crown class so I will keep my fingers crossed that all works out. Thanks for your post.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I think I will continue to pre-book the hand held shower head when necessary to ensure I get it. Love technology when it works and hate it when it fails.

We are on the Crown in July and our balcony cabin will have a fixed shower head. I had my TA request a hand held shower unit when I made our reservation. It is marked on our Travel Summary under Special Services. It has always been in our cabin when we sailed -- maybe that is because we let Princess know ahead of our arrival. The newer Princess ships that we have sailed had hand held shower heads (Discovery, Regal, Royal)

@TN-Mountains "The benefit is applicable on sailings through July 31, 2023 aboard the brands listed below." This line from your quote above had me wondering if there was an expiration date on the benefit. Thanks for your post.

Is there anything in writing that shows how long the Carnival Corporation stock OBC will be offered --- is there an expiration date to this benefit?

It is a good book. I put the map up in my cabin as a reminder to watch for the various wildlife in the areas.

I just looked to see if pre-ordering of the book was an option and it doesn't look like it --- I saw nothing about the book in the gifts section for my July 2023 cruise. We purchased our book two years ago once we got on the ship. Inside the book it shows 2018 as the date for printing. I don't know if your book is older than mine or not.
