  1. Check out my video below. The bartenders on the Getaway last year were fantastic. My wife and I both had the regular drink package. I had no problems getting cans of soda (2) at a time from the Haven bar
  2. Their are times when the hallways are clogged with scooters, I can't imagine bikes being there. I also can't imagine a bike fitting into a cabin.
  3. Here you go...... https://www.tinkercad.com/things/a0oINEPxUG0-tag-holder-ncl-cabin-card-holder
  4. Thats interesting. Our friends did a transatlantic on the Breakaway in 2018. The ship was right around 40%. They said a number of nights only the main large dining room was open and not the two other smaller ones. She said between the people going to the speciality restaurants and the lower amount of passengers their was still never a wait. She said the service was excellent and fast because they had everyone working in one restaurant
  5. They have not punched our cards for the last two cruises due to the chip and antenna being in the card. While on the ship I don't carry a wallet, I made this holder on my 3D printer and it works really well. I made a half dozen for some friends. I also reuse the Haven Leather holder which is already punched
  6. Here is a video walk thru of the Escape. The mens and women locker rooms have a dressing / changing area and showers only
  7. I've been on the Jewel in the Thermal Spa. It's very similar to the Gem. They have a large common area with heated and non heated loungers, I large thermal pool, I believe a smaller one, steam room and sauna. In the mens locker room they had a small one person spa, showers etc... I don't remember exactly
  8. Most of the facilities are not separated, you have separate locker rooms with showers etc... but thats about it
  9. That makes sense, I forgot about the $50 credit
  10. No need to spend your money on NCL excursions in Bermuda. They have shuttles, taxis and busses that go to the beach. Bus is cheapest and longest, they can also be crowded.
  11. Priority means easy walk off to me. I believe thats what it called.... Easy Walk off. Never really paid that much attention to it because we do just that.
  12. And imagine being the person who has to clean it LOL
  13. Priority to me means taking ALL of your bags off with you. We often do this and always do it when we are in a suite or in the Haven
  14. As long as your kids are well behaved, have a little bit of street smarts their will be no issue. I realize times have changed, I'm 60 and when I was 10-12 especially during the summer my friends and I would leave the house at 8am and wouldn't be back until dinner, we would travels miles. The problem comes in I've have seen it first hand when you have groups of pre teens and teens who are bored and roaming the ships. Playing games in the stairwells, making a mess in the buffet and just being disrespectful to other passengers and the crew. On the other hand I've seen plenty of drunk, angry disrespectful adults who I would have loved to toss overboard
  15. 14 NCL cruises and we always roll our carry on's and back packs with us. Its easy enough to put them under a table while having lunch, after lunch cabins are normally ready. We do the same thing when we have a suite or a Haven cabin

    Jobson's Cove

Thanks, I couldn't remember if they have bathrooms or not. My wife reminded we we walked down to Horseshoe to grab a cab back

    Jobson's Cove

I should have been more detailed. Between Jobson's and Warwick Long Bay their is a small parking lot . I remember out taxi dropped us off feet from the beach.

    Jobson's Cove

I don't remember if the had a bathroom or not? Also are taxis normally waiting or do you need to walk down to Horseshoe Beach to get one? Thanks
  19. Its important to remind people not to get carried away when bidding. On our last cruise we had booked a Spa Balcony on the GA. I received an invite to bid and I put in 4 bids on different Haven Cabins. I had a certain max amount I was bidding and soon realized it was cheaper just to book the cheapest Haven cabin which was a Spa Haven Cabin
  20. Bring it, know how to take it on and off the ship, fly it safe and you will most likely be safe. The one time my drone was "Confiscated" taken to the naughty room where I was given a tag so I could take it on and off the ship I got to meet some officers and was invited to the bridge Lol
  21. I'm with you, coming from PA its very easy to get to. Its great being able to park right next to the ship. We are taking a cruise out of Boston in June (driving to the port). I started looking around for parking lots, what a PITA. They have a bunch of little lots, most it seem you have to prebook your parking with. No real clear instructions, I found one but can't book yet because the calendar only goes to May. In NYC is so simple
  22. Does anyone really care if a terminal is shiny and new? MCT works fine, its not new, its not shiny but its very easy to get around and its clean, its not like you are spending the weekend hanging out at the terminal. Most weeks it's used for about 24 hours.
  23. NCL in NYC for years had a pretty set and good schedule. Lots of 10 and 14 day cruises, I haven't ween a 14 day in a number of years. They used to have one BA and one Jewel class ship.
