Kathi, our hopes and prayers are with you, and I hope that last round of chemo goes well for you and you are soon back in full strength again. Leanne did a good job filling in for you, but we all have missed you.
During the pandemic I did start on a new book, since I had extra time on my hands. Great news, I have only four more pages to color in and I will then be able to go back and add the dialogue to each page. I believe it will be finished sometime next year.
I know that we are not supposed to discuss politics or religion on this thread, but since it is lose a sock day, I must break the rules today. It is common knowledge that every time you lose a sock it is reincarnated as an extra plastic lid that does not fit any of the containers you have in the house. Maybe I should have just buttoned my lip and not mentioned this.
I know a lot of the posters here like the rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit greeting for the first of each month. However, I think we all need to be a little more inclusive, so we don't leave anyone out. I am suggesting that we also allow the following greeting. Squirrel, Squirrel, Grey Squirrel, for those of us who are nuts. Just a thought.
On clean comedy day, I was going to tell a joke about the Australian who kissed his mate, but I can't because a fight broke out in the bar right after he did that. Maybe I should write a limerick about that so I can cover poetry day as well.
I think it must be a conspiracy to have Big Wind Day and International Lawyers Day on the same day. That sounds kind of cheesey to me. Especially when those lawyers grill you. Got to love the SD weather. Last week it was in the 20's with snow, yesterday it was 93 degrees. I really missed spring this year.
When I was younger, I used to work as a vet assistant, so I got to know farm animals quite well. In fact, some of them reminded me of my siblings. Some were stubborn as a mule and others were easy to pull the wool over their eyes. Have a good day all.
