  1. I have been updated.. smarter peeps than me have said it is not usually added until after the shareholder and Board meeting.
  2. Did you notice that there is an absence of the "Shareholder Benefit" in this annual report? Don't know if it is a miss, but normally it sits on page 3 of the Annual reports, and is missing from this, and not a single mention of it in the full text.
  3. I suspect it is AARP that has changed the discount. Resellers receive somewhere between 10 and 15% commission on the sale of gift cards, and they might not be making their expected profit on the sales of the cards.
  4. Just swing by the MDR, speak to the head waiter, and they will get you a menu for the next evening, and take your order. Easy to do, and was great to be sure we could have a GF meal the next evening.
  5. alas, no correlation, just a coincidence. I know it sounds weird, but… we never expected it to happen and it will most likely never happen again. Premier is an add on that really does not make dollars sense to us, adding Premier to our next cruise would have been well over $2k. We used that for excursions at every port, 2 specially dining reservations, and still have not hit the difference.
  6. Hmmm... Would I get it again.. NO, am I glad that I did.. YES. I would get Plus, but not the Premium. It was a last minute cruise (Discovery, sailed in Sept, booked in August), so we splurged. We had a ton of FCC from 2 cancelled cruises over Covid that had to be used by Dec last year. We each got $125 OBC, 2 Specialty dining, drink package, multi device wifi, gratuities, 5 picture photo package and entries into the Princess Plus every time we entered the cabin (at sea). It was very nice to not have to worry about the end of cruise bill, as everything was covered. Good Was nice to order drinks, coffees, water, and not have to think about what we will be paying at the end. We used this feature a lot, and the crew at the IC knew our names. Did not know that the Gelato was included until the last night (missed out on superb gelato) The specialty dining was very nice as we tried Bistro Sur la Mere and Sabatini's. Bad Photo's were horrible, poorly done, out of focus, poorly lighted and the boarding photos were an absolute joke (green screen behind) and they overlayed a poor photo background Wifi on the ship was the slowest I have ever experienced, we could hardly connect to view emails and many speed tests showed service was always less than 1mbs service .3 average and .92 the fastest. I would have demanded a refund on this alone, but it was included so could not really complain. Unexpected Wife won the end of cruise draw and she walked away with $5k in her pockets (it is paying for our next cruise this summer).
  7. Have you finalized the deposit payment, or you still in the hold stage. I found that once we completed the deposit payment, and the old Princess IT had a couple of hours to wind up, that everything finally appeared in the Travel Summary. We had the Premier on our last cruise.
  8. Use your cell phone #. We do not have a home phone, just cell phones. Just double checked my next cruise and both my Home and Mobile phone # are the same (and fully checked in) No dashes, just 9998884444 Also try adding it via the website (not the app). I found entering base level data much easier that way.
  9. Take a taxi to the Airport. $15-$20, and there will be a lot of them at the port. Maximum of a 15 minute ride over from the port area to the Airport.
  10. We used Scootaround for our last Panama canal cruise. The scooter was in the cabin upon arrival, and we left it there when we disembarked. It was a brand new, fully charged scooter. it fits well into the accessable cabins, but would be a tight fit in a regular cabin.
  11. Alas not an error, you should have your 50% Elite/Platinum discount noted on the price, but still it is very pricy. Price went up the end of Feb and was announced in Dec. I am in the same state as you, had to cancel and rebook an upcoming summer cruise, and the extras (4 device internet) went from $80 USD to $320.
  12. Sent my request in 2 weeks ago, and had it in my account within 24 hours. Yes, I got the "we are busy" e-mail, but the credit was very quick, and we are not sailing until July. To check, open your cruise personalizer on the website, and open the "Travel Summary", when credited, it will be listed about 1/2 down the document in the invoice section.
  13. Yes, currently the App only shows either 1 or 4 devices. But.. before Dec it also provided an upgrade price on the 4 devices, when one went to purchase it. The App department has connected with me and asked additional questions and clarifications, so awaiting their response.

I have zero problem seeing my existing booking, it shows up flawlessly on both my computer and the app. The instructions provided above would help a user to find their "current" cruise on the App so they can whatever they need to do before their cruise. Again.. this part of the program works, I can see my cruise, everywhere. I am trying to do is look at booking a future cruise, this is the broken part of the process. You would think that Princess would LOVE to show me future cruises, but that nasty screen pops up when I use my account. I will try that email and see what they say. Thanks for responding
  15. I can only what I am shown on the App and what I originally paid (in CAD of course) at the 1.35 exchange rate. You can math the exchange rate, but it still is showing that I would need to pay 4 times the rate I paid before cancelling. Not chance to pay in USD unless I cancel and re-book again with Princess at the prevailing USD rate. On the original booking I bought and paid $108 for 4 devices. I was more than OK with this price, as it gave me 4 devices for a killer price. Alas, I rebooked for the Cdn at Par Sale. as the savings far outweighed the loss of an excursion or 3 extra devices. Currently on the App, it is showing a whopping $864 for 16 days of internet (or just over $40 USD per day) with the discounted price to $432 ($20 USD). Every time I multiply $108 x 4, I get $432.00 (or a 400% increase). Agreed that I should be getting some sort of credit for the Plus internet I am already purchasing, but it is not what they would charge me if I were to book.. Alas, Princess has a LONG way to figure out what the heck their website is doing and charging. Also, purchased Princess Plus fare, which includes 1 device per person.

  17. Don't understand the question. This is looking at booking future cruises, when on Princess.com there is only one method to sign in "Email and Password". I can see my next cruise, but cannot see any others...
  18. Yes, it was well worth it. Saved almost $1900 on the the cruise (CAD at Par sale 2 weeks ago) and got the corner Aft Balcony we wanted. Not going to give them extra $$ for this, as I can spend in the 10 seconds to change devices if I need to.. and I really should be taking a break from electronics for the trip (but it will never happen).
  19. Has any one had difficulty in viewing cruise prices when signed into their account? Every time I sign into my Princess account (past 3 weeks), I am blocked from viewing ANY cruise outside of my one booking for July. 100% of the time, I get this error message. It does not matter the computer, the OS, or how I access, I am blocked (Tried on my home PC, Wives PC, iPad, Work Computer, friends computer in a different house, Mac Book, Incognito mode, VPN) when I sign into my account. But, I can see cruises and prices if I do not sign in to my account. I use a PVC, and his only suggestion was to go incognito mode and do not sign in to find cruises and then send him a message. I am beginning to think that Princess has purposely blocked access so one is to connect with one of them to look at future cruises. Anyone have a Princess IT help email I can send something to??
  20. We are on a 16 night Hawaii Cruise that I cancelled and re-booked for a better price. We had Internet 4 devices and paid for $108 CAD for upgrade to 4 devices for the cruise. I went to book the 4 devices again and was totally flabbergasted that the price has gone up 400% to $432, and that is with the 50% discount for being Platinum.
  21. I tried an Ensenada excursion for giggles. The totals match up what we have already paid, and what OBC we figure we have available. It was at the final payment click screen it gives me a link to view credits, and that shows the correct available amount for this cruise. At least I now have a method to view used/available credits. Woohoo!
  22. Is that a recent experience? I can only go by what has happened to me in the past month, we are not sailing until July if that makes a difference, I suspect if we were on the ship, and cancelled, it would be a different story. OBC was taken to pay for the excursions and the remainder from my CC ($400 OBC and $679 via credit card). When I recently cancelled one of the excursions ($519), I received a refund to my CC of $119 and assume the rest $400 went to OBC. Alas, I cannot figure out how to display "remaining" OBC on either the app or website.
  23. I suspect that you had both the Balcony Breakfast and the Excursion in your shopping basket at the same time, and the system defaulted to payment via credit card. If you try the order just with the Excursions, it will be deducted from the OBC. Balcony Breakfast cannot be charged to OBC before sailing (only after you board).
  24. I have first hand experience.. Before Boarding.... You can book AND cancel excursions both using OBC (first charge) and then to your credit card on file (for any remaining amounts). If you cancel an excursion, it is first credited back to OBC and THEN any remainder is credited back to your credit card. The credit card refund is quick (1-2 days) and always split into the base price per person. Available OBC is always used for excursions first, then credit. My example: I had booked an excursion (2 people) costing $519.90, could not justify the expense, so Sunday I cancelled it and think I got $400 back in OBC and then 2x transactions of $59.95 back to my credit card, one yesterday and one today. There is really no way to check the actual OBC balance, but I am hoping that it is the $400 that was returned and my Shareholder credit...
  25. How are your thoughts on the cruise, so far? Saw a post on a different BB and the poster, on the cruise with you, was complaining about everything on the cruise.... wine was bad and I quote "Nasty, discount store quality", room was dirty, food was sub par... etc. Do hope you are enjoying your self, and have a great trip to Japan.
