  1. Take your tumblers. We had the premium package last cruise, and no tumblers and I didn't see them anywhere on the ship.
  2. Actually see that you have done what you need to do. Do you have a travel Agent or a Princess vacation planner? I would call them and enquire. You can also call the 1-800 line and and ask the agent for Customer Relations (the next level of support) to assist you. Don't stay on the line with the first line agent, they only have base knowledge/access.
  3. Should be no problem. It took us about 2 weeks to get the refund from both Princess (to our credit card, applied in less than 5 days) and from AON to Princess as FCC. Did you do an insurance request on the AON Affinity site (www.aontravelclaim.com)? All it took from our side was entering in our booking reference # and date of cruise. They responded with an email the following business day sayin that it would be credited within 2-4 weeks.
  4. Yes, the wonderful App.. While it works most of the time, it is quirky. We have (now had) the Crown Grill booked for a special milestone birthday dinner on our next cruise. I paid at the old rate ($29 pp) in Dec. For some unknown reason, the dinner was cancelled and then the monies refunded last week. Called through to the Medallion no-help desk and they were very happy to rebook the dinner at the increased rate of $39 pp. I could not get the dinner re-instated at the old, price and could only book a new one at the new rate. If I wanted to lodge a complaint, I would have to call back to the no-help desk and talk to someone else.
  5. You will get back the 100% less the insurance fee. We did this earlier this year. The process is quite quick. Entered the booking reference # onto the AON site, and the FCC was applied in less than 2 weeks.
  6. Mine is over 2 pages, and I just create a PDF of the 2 applicable pages (print to PDF page 1 and 4 - the address page, and USD holdings page). Princess is inconsistent on when you can apply. I have received the OBC 9 months in advance, and then again received an email asking me to re-apply 1-2 months before the cruise. I try to send it in about 4 months in advance and it is credited sometime before the cruise (anywhere between 2 hours and 21 days).
  7. Princess OBC will show up once the deposit is made, and the Travel Summary is available. Go into your account (on-line not the App) and click on Luggage Tag & Travel Summary (top right side). When this page opens up, scroll down and find the Travel Summary. All Princess OBC will be listed here, just below the Invoice space. I am told TA OBC arrives when you get on board, my TA's OBC (In Canada) is listed on the Travel Summary. I have not been able to access this OBC until I sail. I am not sure about cancelling payment on-board and then trying to use the TA OBC when you get on board. I would suspect not. Refund of unused OBC... never happens - LOL!! Refunds of refundable OBC is by way of a cheque that is mailed to you after the cruise is completed.
  8. Send a redacted copy of your stock certificate to: sbpcl@princesscruises.com (cross out the account #s), but ensure that it states you have at least 100 shares of CCL, and is registered to you. I just send a PDF copy of the monthly statement I get from my broker. Add your Ship Name, Sailing #, Booking Reference #, and of course your name. Send at least a month in advance. You will sometimes get a return email, but mostly you will just see the OBC added to you account. It is not consistent how long, but between a couple of hours and up to 3 weeks to get it applied.
  9. You do not have to be present to win, but it is more fun. They will have the details in the Patter when it happens. You have to see "Entered into Draw" on your door. Most times you will see "Please try again" We won the grand prize on our last cruise and were at the Piazza by accident as we just happened to pass by for a coffee when they announced the winners. The names were pre-drawn, and they had a big cheque with my name on it.
  10. Last time we just added our family as companions on our booking (through the Medallion app). This way we could have dinner together and when we booked excursions we were on the same one.
  11. I have no idea. I believe she is one of the Cruise Assistants, but this was the only time that we saw her around the ship.
  12. Wish that was the case... but it just proved that we had WAY too many specialty Coffee's at the International Cafe. Especially when the wait staff would greet me by name and start making my Cappuccino.
  13. Can tell you from practical experience. On your cabin door there will be a Princess Prizes emblem, when you get near your door it will tell you if you have won a minor prize ~$25 OBC or have been entered in to the end of cruise drawing. You can try to scan your card every 10-15 minutes when the casino is open. We saw 1 time where we had "Entered into Final Draw" Edit.. The above is included in the Princess Premium package, or you can add $20 per day to play the screen and hope for a prize. End of cruise they draw (pre-draw) and announce several prizes for $25, $50 and then the cruise Grand Prize (up to $100,000) on our cruise, it was first announced that the grand prize would be $1,000, but it was actually $5,000. We happened to be in the Piazza when they announced the winners and it was a shock when they called our cabin and my name for the Grand Prize. It is a given as a cash prize ($50x $100 bills), and you have to complete the associated Tax documents. My wife's name was actually drawn for the Grand Prize, but they put my name on the cheque and I posed for photos with the Captain and the Cruise Directors. We later found out her name was drawn when we went to the Casino to pick up the prize. It is paying for our next cruise, when we head on a 16 night to Hawaii next year.
  14. My wife won the grand prize on the Discovery Princess on the repositioning cruise between Vancouver and Los Angeles in Sept. Came as a great shock to us, as we only saw a single time on the door screen that we had an entry to the contest (when my wife opened the door). Every other time we had a "Please Try Again" screen. We were in the International Café, when the were announcing the names that they had drawn. There were 2x $25, 1x $50 and then grand prize of $5,000. They called my name and I went up, met the Captain, Cruise Director and his assistant. They took photo's of me with a large cheque, the Captain even joked if I could fit it into my suitcase, which I declined to take. We were given a small envelope, that I suspected was a cheque, but it was just my name on a card. We were then directed to head to the Casino and they would give us the prize there. Funny thing is the prize was awarded to me, when we went to claim it at the Casino, we were almost turned away, as they said someone else had won the prize from our cabin. Turns out they picked my wife's name, but called me up for the photo's and award (maybe because I booked the cabin). Darling wife walked away from the cruise with $5,000 cash in her pocket.
  15. Ah the mysteries of the Princess and their IT department...
  16. Do not know if this has been answered. But here is what I found out. Princess in their infinite wisdom made a critical change to the web site and it impacts SOME customers. When you see the above message it is attempting to create a new account for you. If you add the data you will become a BRAND new Blue cruiser with a NEW Captain's circle #. There is no way around this for entering the base site. You then have to call loyalty at 1-800-901-1172 EXT 13084 and tell them the website has created a NEW account for you. They will merge the accounts, and then send you to another department to get your account re-set up again. Alas once this happens you are STUCK If you want to go to your cruise account you have to open the site. IGNORE the sign in and click on Booked Guests, then you enter in your Booking # and your Full name and birthdate and then and only then can you see your cruise. If you click Log in at any time it will again create a new account, and you are back to square one above again. Princess has no idea of when this will be fixed, and why it only happens to some and not others.
  17. We are planned on the Sept 22nd to Oct 2nd Cruise. The is a long planned dry dock scheduled, in Oregon, on the 2nd and she should be out for the Hawaii Cruise on the 18th. There is a dry dock post, and our friend the Crown is listed at #3. We are so hoping that they cancel one of the upcoming Alaska cruises before and just get the current problems taken care of, and do the regular dry dock stuff in October.
  18. "Pre-covid" they were at Guest services on disembarkation day. It is/was called the "Log of the Cruise", and gave distance travelled, speed and fun facts about the cruise. Oh well, things change as we rush to be digital and do EVERYTHING on our little phones.. Still cannot get over my kids watching movies on their little phone screens when they have a 60" TV sitting 10 feet away from them.
  19. @QuilterGirl Can you post a picture of the details of the Cruise (issued on the last day). I am interested in hearing how fast the ship is travelling now. We have the last cruise before dry dock booked (Sept 22-Oct 2) but it has a lot of distance to travel (Vancouver to SFO, LA, San Diego and return).. We are hoping that even with reduced speed that the ship can make all the ports.
  20. You can send an email to this email : sbpcl@princesscruises.com Include your name, ship, sail date and booking number. Attach a pdf copy of a recent shareholders statement, showing that you have 100 or more shares. They do not send a confirmation, just keeping checking your cruise personalizer on the website for the credit.
  21. Alas one per cabin.. (else I would transfer some to my darling wife's account)
