  1. It took about 6 weeks for our FCC to be applied from our July 2022 Sky Princess cruise. We did get a letter while onboard telling us how much the credit would be and this was correctly applied. Hope you get yours soon!
  2. Like Sheila127 we were also irritated at the thought of having to do this - but once we tried it for the first time and found how easy and convenient it was, we were actually quite impressed. And we were definitely in the "club dining only" camp before this cruise.
  3. I was going to say exactly the same thing... We didn't arrive in Barbados until 10pm on our last cruise, so it would have been a total waste...
  4. This is great info - thanks for sharing!
  5. We have a B2B booked in May and all the Fort Lauderdale excursions on turn-around day are marked as "Debark Tour" in the title... However, when reviewing the Special Notes for those with FLL transfers inclded: **Although, this is a disembarkation tour, guests who are continuing the cruise (on LINK voyages or back to back) and wish to participate on this tour should be aware that the coach will first drop off the guests at the Fort Lauderdale airport then return to the pier where the ship is docked. I must admit this did initially put us off booking these excursions, but then I didn't realise how close the airport is to the pier and therefore only a minor distraction from getting back to the ship.
  6. $600 OBC in 18 months for $710 investment - nice! ⭐ It took us 6 years to break even! I'm surprised at the April 2024 OBC being processed too - I assume you haven't yet paid the final balance? I understood that OBC would not be added until final payment was made. I'm sure the benefit will continue to be extended in any case.
  7. I'm sure they won't and neither should they. Completely your choice and I agree with what Harry said too.
  8. One cautionary note... Shareholder benefit is not guaranteed to always be available in the future. Current benefit is applicable for sailings through July 31, 2023 with reservations made by February 28, 2023. There's no reason to believe that this benefit wouldn't be extended in the annual report (and it has every year since we got shares back in 2008), but it can't be 100% guaranteed.
  9. Agree, although it is a small box (normally) and I expect we have a more substantial need than most others
  10. BTW you can request a sharps disposal box to dispose of needles
  11. It is the same for Caribbean PE flights - the 28kg x2 allowance can be split across 3 cases
  12. Hi @Merly, interested to know what hotel you have been given? We have been allocated Miami Lakes Hotel (like MBandJSinUK above) for our next cruise and that's the same as our previous Princess fly-cruise (also 4 years ago) so left wondering if this is always their go-to hotel. We also really liked that hotel last time.
  13. Barbados Cat Caribe & Turtles was also sold out on our November cruise on Britannia, but the (shorter) Turtle Swim was available and it was brilliant. It was so good in fact that we re-booked it for the following day before disembarkation!
  14. Hi Gem, Destination requirements are regularly updated here: https://www.pocruises.com/cruise-with-confidence/destination-requirements Specifically for Barbados: Barbados All guests flying into Barbados must provide evidence of completing the Barbados Immigration and Customs form here. The form will be available within 72 hours prior to travel. This will be checked at the airport before boarding your flight. We’ve put together a handy guide on how to fill this out here.
  15. You can find the current entry requirements for all destinations here: https://www.pocruises.com/cruise-with-confidence/destination-requirements It gets updated fairly regularly. Currently no restrictions at all for Norway, so you can just wander 🙂
  16. And make sure you check the policy still meets your needs... there have been a lot of changes to annual policies since the pandemic.
  17. As per https://www.pocruises.com/cruise-with-confidence/destination-requirements: Barbados All guests flying into Barbados must provide evidence of completing the Barbados Immigration and Customs form here. The form will be available within 72 hours prior to travel. This will be checked at the airport before boarding your flight. We’ve put together a handy guide on how to fill this out here.
  18. Almost exactly the same for me. Only a couple of hours between my request and that first email response to ask for proof of postage, and then less than 10 mins more before I got the refund. I was impressed with them when we had our observed tests back in July, and equally impressed now - t would be a shame that this service is being discontinued if it weren't for the fact it's no longer needed for our cruises!
  19. Certainly for our forthcoming cruise there have been a couple of changes where restrictions or additional testing requirements have been removed.
  20. Anyone who booked their observed test with Prenetics / Project Screen within the last 14 days can cancel their contract and get a full refund, although you will have to pay your own postage costs to return the kit(s) before the refund is issued. Refund process is outlined here: https://www.projectscreen.co.uk/legals/refunds/ Hopefully their recent withdrawal of these tests from the market won't affect this policy.
  21. Exactly that Simon. There used to be a quick video on the Prenetics website to show through the entire process, but it is still described well in the FAW at the bottom of this: https://www.projectscreen.co.uk/fit-to-fly/teleheath-lateral-flow-antigen-test/ I also found this quick YouTube video which shows the contents of the test and what you're expected to do: We did this in the summer as a family of four and it was really straightforward.
  22. We were once called 20 minutes AFTER leaving Gibraltar to check that our 5-year-old son had got back on board with us 😄 I suppose they will have been pretty confident we wouldn't have got back on without him, but still not sure what would have happened if we'd said no!
  23. If there's a particular excursion that you really want to take, it might be worth booking at least that one in advance. We booked our next cruise quite late and two of the excursions we really wanted to book were already sold out.
  24. When did this policy change? We only booked our November cruise at the end of August and given how our last cruise was impacted by Covid we were very careful to read through all the terms before booking... 😐 well, at least I thought we were careful...
