  1. Following as we are looking at this excursion also.  Looking at it on Royal's site it looks like they store your luggage.  They have 3 trips to the airport and that is included in the price.  I didn't see the 8:00 time though.  Where were you seeing this time?  I wasn't wanting to get off the ship that early.  Hope others will comment that have done this excursion.

And I was also looking to kill some time before flight out of FLL with our ship arriving back in Miami.  I liked the idea of luggage being checked and taken to the airport with us.  Figured it would save on luggage storage and save on uber/taxi to the airport.  Any other ideas besides renting a car?

  2. just off IOS. There were 2 weddings onboard.  Four night cruise.  We had the UDP.  Were told on embarqment day we could use for speciality dining but upon going to Chops were told the entire room was booked for lunch.  Could not understand this one but it turned out some business booked the entire lunch that day in Chops.  Not happy to say the least.  But to answer your question, yes it was included.

  3. Will this have an obstructed view behind us? Is it too close to the elevators?  This is for a 2020 May cruise.  Should I look to switch to starboard or is port the best side to be on for a Hawaiian cruise?

Still early and I can move cabins.  Thoughts???

Thanks in advance. First cruise of NCL after numerous RCI and Celebrity and Carnival cruises.

I've never been to KW so pardon my ignorance.  Google Maps shows Empress and HAL Nieuw Amsterdam docked near Mallory Square, where it looks like a very short walk to Duval Street.  I also see piers that look like they are part of the Coast Guard Base (part of NASKW??) off Mustin Street.  Is it one of the piers near Mallory Square that is damaged, requiring use of the Mustin St. piers on the CG base?  Inquiring minds...

    Bob,

BC4C docked at the port on the military base.  Then we were shuttled to the 3K run/1K walk through Key West.  You should have stayed on the ship for that cruise.  We wouldn't have thrown you off 🙂  Unfortunately we are not porting in Key West this year.  We had a blast at Sloppy Joe's after the run/walk.

With the refreshment package you can get virgin cocktails. I am not a drinker so I do not know one cocktail for another, so with being said and so I don't look like an idiot when ordering, what are some cocktails that I can order that actually taste good as a virgin cocktail? Also on Royal Caribbean can I get my virgin cocktail with my package and then buy lets say a shot of rum or vodka and have the bartender mix it together?

    Order a virgin Miami Vice.

Also, can you just get milkshakes free if you don't purchase food?  I am not sure on that.  I have the refreshment package on my next cruise and there is a JR on the ship.

Yep, I know.  I redeemed mine about 6 months ago, for my upcoming sailing.

That is normal.  They told me 10 days before the cruise.  You can call them and ask them to add them to your cruise planner now. They will get a department that will get it added now.  If you don't call and request it be added early they will not add it until 10 days prior.  I redeemed 500 in OBC and the same thing happened to me.

Yes, the OBC from Visa points is fully refundable.  If you don't cash it out on the last day, it will automatically go back onto the credit card securing your onboard account.  If that is the Royal Visa card, you will lose 2X point for that credit, so it's better to take out the cash.

Can you explain the "Take out of the cash"  Are you saying go to guest services and get the cash back from the unused portion of the OBC?  Do this rather than let it go back on our card?  And our CC securing the account would be the Royal CC.
