Loved her and Capt. D!
I think you were the one who was going to tell her hello from Mark and Lisa. Did you remember by chance?
-
Did you like Sara as the CD? She was our favorite.

When we first booked Aqua (a few years ago) we love everything about Blu. But after a few years (and many cruises) in Blu we realized the food had not changed much in years. Last year, during a 14 day Eclipse Cruise, we finally got tired of the tired Blu menu. It also bothered me that I had to practically beg to get Eggs Benedict at breakfast (its not on the Blu menu). For our next X cruise we decided to forgo Aqua and got a very good deal on a Concierge balcony cabin (we would not pay extra for Concierge...but this was a good deal). The savings we get from not booking Aqua will go towards more dining in Qsine and Murano (our favorite alternative restaurants) and we will probably hold our nose and even dine in the Tuscan.
We will likely go back to Aqua (and Blu) on a future cruise...but for now...we want more variety in cuisine. But we do think most folks should try Aqua (and Blu) at least once. It is fun and different.

I ordered Eggs Benedict numerous times in Blu without any issues. Maybe it has changed.

Did you pass along our Hello to Sara? Did you enjoy her as a CD? Hope the entire cruise was a good one for you.

We were just off Silhouette first part of April. Had an Aqua cabin and ate in Blu every night except once (Tuscan once). We were very impressed with Blu. You will not be disappointed with Blu.

Reflection has the spider on deck 11...However, she is talking about a C1, so there would be no spider...only on the s1 corner aft, deck 11.
Huh? Need some help on understanding this comment.
Thanks

Any help on which deck to go for with Aft C1 cabins on Reflection? Deck 9, 10, 11 or 12?
Also do the balconies offer any privacy or can people from able see in to your balcony? Any shade on these balconies?
Thanks in advance for any help on the Aft C1 cabins

Prices just jumped again. Unfortunately I am being held hostage at our work not approving our time off. Wish I could have booked when I first looked a month ago.

36th and 34th cruises were on Silhouette. I can not even begin to explain how much I love this ship, except to say cruise 39 and 40 will be back with her! I could talk about the seamless embarkation, wonderful butler in Sky Suite, immaculate cabin, great shows, exceptional staff, food in Luminae breathtaking ,:D but you have heard that all before! This last sentence sums it up, and anyone who hated that feeling of as soon as the cruise was over.. no one really cared, it was an abrupt jolt back into reality. The cruise director was standing in the line on the way to baggage, hugging, thanking, and exuding a warmth unlike any other! This seemingly small gesture best describes why I love this ship!
Sara made our cruise for us. I would book the next cruise to sail on her ship without hesitation. I also can not say enough good about her.

We are hoping to book that cruise shortly. Not good to hear of the limited availability. A1 cabins are gone. Not many A2 cabins left. Hope we don't get to the party too late.

On Silhouette, Blu was open 6:30-8:00 and last day and it was a full breakfast. Good choice on the last day before exiting the ship.

Definitely start with the X website (as poor as it is). Secondly, what do you want to know about - dining facilities? guest rooms? etc. The differences are wide, so if you can narrow you interests down it will be easier to respond. Thanks.
Not so much about the cabins but hte public areas. The dining rooms, lounges, etc.
Guess I was hoping for a website that would allow me to compare decks.
-
Just got off the Silhouette. Looking to book a cruise in Dec. on Reflection. Can anyone tell me differences between the two? Any good sites that would allow you to compare the two deck plans side by side?
Thanks for any information.

Just off the Silly April 2nd. His 10:00am April 1st talk was hilarious. A real jokester.
-
We just got off the Silhouette April 2nd and they were on that sailing. I think they left after that sailing. Great show. They definitely received the best crowd reaction after their show.

Heard Megan's is super packed and commercialized now...we are heading to St John to Trunk Bay from St Thomas instead....heard gorgeous

Exactly. Trunk Bay. Take the Ferry to St. John. Beautiful. You will not regret.

The young lady doing the aerial routine on the rope was amazing. I think she was from the Ukraine. Made my old body hurt just watching her bend and stretch.
We were on the cruise the week before your cruise. They had Tenors of Rock and they were my favorite. Great overall entertainment though.
-
Not currently cruising but disembarked on 4-2 from Silly and received cans of pop the entire cruise. If things have changed it is since then. And we did have classic drink package.
-
So excited! Thank you for sharing we leave Sunday!
PLEASE say hello to Sara from Mark and Lisa. Tell her we said many thanks to her.
-
We were on the sailing before you and absolutely loved Sara. Her along with the maitre D in Blu made the cruise perfect for us. I really hope we meet up with Sara again on a future cruise.
Who was the comedian? We had Ralph Harris and he was hilarious. I take it Tenors of Rock was not on your cruise? They were my favorite show.

Not looking to check in, just drop off luggage with the porters. Can I do it at 10?
Thanks,
Mike
We dropped ours off at 9:30 and had it before muster. No issues.

Did you happen to notice which free movies were offered on cabin tv?
Also, was The Porch open for lunch on embarkation day?
Any problems getting good internet signal in your cabin?
Are cotton balls and Q-tips still offered in cabin bathrooms?
Thanks!
Only one I can offer is qtips and cotton balls were available in our cabin but we sailed Aqua. I think that is Aqua and higher.
I do not believe the porch (lawn club) was open on embarqment day for lunch.
Did not use the internet but those who did that I spoke with said it was grealy imporved from the past.
Movie? Not sure what is available as we did not watch any movies.

Agreed! We were on for 2 weeks in Jan/Feb and we loved Sara! She was off the ship hugging guests good-bye when we disembarked! Hope she is on next January!!
She sure was.
Wish I knew which ships she would be on in the future as we are looking for a cruise in December and it would greatly influence our decision knowing which ship she would be on at that time.

No Tenors this week.
Shoes were pretty good.
Crew was very friendly. :)
We cruised the sailing before yours and the Tenors or Rock were on that sailing. They must have just left. They were very good.
Sara Romero was an amazing CD. Best I have ever experienced.
A Few More Cut-backs!

Sailed Aqua last month. Had chocolates on pillow every night. Received sparkling wine last night. Recveived the nice blue bags. No leather business card holder though that I recall. No complaints here.
