  1. Do they still honor the old cards?

I had one of these all brown cards - blank with nothing written on it and I was grilled on the Royal Princess about where I got it because they have not been used for over a year. I will only buy the new one off of aBay as I finally had to get a supervisor to use it. YMMV - but buyer beware!? No issues ever using a new green trimmed one. I think a crew member was supposed to destroy these old brown ones and managed to sell them to someone who is now selling them on eBay

  2. Update - live from the Equinox- unsweetened Silk almond milk readily available all over the ship! Was pleasantly surprised that they also have sugar free vanilla syrup for lattes at Cafe el Bacio too!! Loving my early morning coffee!

  3. Think of the speed you had when you used dialup internet. We were on her for 36 days and we had several days in a row with NO internet because of ships positioning. They use satellites and can have issues. We also had very limited TV. Sometimes finding internet in a port is not easy either and can be slow and spotty.

  4. I have always been able to find almond milk, although Café Al Bacio at times would run out of it. Never a problem ordering it for dinner or breakfast (in BLU or MDR). Be advised it is the sweetened kind, so adjust your taste buds and calories accordingly (I much prefer the unsweetened but happy they have any at all)

Thanks! I use unsweetened, so may skip adding any sweetener!

  5. We were in E701 for 28 days and loved it. The obstruction is a pull down bed that is hidden in the ceiling that would obstruct the balcony door if bed down. Close to stairs and we walked down to dinner in one minute every night. Also close to elite/platinum party too!

  6. We were on her for 36 glorious days this summer. Prepare for the best cruise experience ever!! We had a huge inside cabin with a sofa! You get to know everyone on the ship. Food was excellent! You do feel more movement if the sea is rough. She is our favorite ship of all!

PS-the ship is small enough, I used our midship cabin bathroom instead of public bathrooms! I needed the steps to offset all the good food. We were on her after her dry dock and she got a lot of new furnishings. The new "Princess bed" is heaven to sleep [emoji42] in. Almost all new carpeting. New outside deck chairs and seating too. I could go on and on.

  7. That cruise is not listed on the 3FF chart because it's Spring 2018 & is not included in the Summer 2018 to Spring 2019 promotion.

Of course! Lol! Is my round Australia cruise on Sea Princess for 3/8/19 and our transpacific cruise back to LA on the Golden on 4/8/19 qualify? Thanks

  8. On page 5 of the cruise fare chart under "Hawaii" there's a 28-day roundtrip LA on the Star sailing on 3/30/19...is that the one? Emerald shows 10/23/18 with the same prices except the suites are $500 more expensive.

If so, here's the lowest price by type which in many cases would be eligible to upgrade to the highest category within type of cabin.

    • Interior: $3,599
    • Oceanview: $4,799
    • Balcony: $5,999
    • Minisuite: $8,699
    • Suite: $11,999

No, it is Emerald Princess 3/30/18. Trying to attach a screen shot - but not uploading. Current leadin price on inside is $2999
