  1. You're welcome but on the other thread about this upcoming offer it's being discussed about how cruises are currently displaying some odd pricing. Hopefully by Tuesday everything will reflect the fare chart's prices & benefits...1 cruise shows a better net price with 3 for Free, 2 are better with our current S+S OBC.

I am looking at the 28 day RT out of LA on the Emerald on 3/30. We are already on the ship from our SA cruise and thinking about staying onboard. Any idea on price?

  2. Wondering if it will be a non-refundable promotion also? That is how Princess is keeping us from re-faring cruises. I called yesterday with a price drop, but with the new promotion code, I would have been locked into a non-refundable cruise. I declined and decided to wait for 3 for free to compare.

  3. We were on the Island for Super Bowl this year and they did a great job. Showed it on Muts and in Larger bar on big screen. They served lots of tailgate type food and the casino sold football squares. Only thing we missed were the commercials- they buy a live feed from ESPN and there are none. Enjoy!

  4. On Royal, Regal and Majestic they are now using brewed coffee in dining room and buffet. All other ships still use syrup and it tastes like swill. You can always get a coffee card and get brewed in IC and some bars.

  5. You have a great location! You will hear absolutely nothing and if you have laundry to do you are in an excellent spot!! We were right next door several times and did not hear a thing!!! Relax and have fun!

  6. I think you mean "Tango Portero" which is located on Cerritos in Barrio Norte, not far from the obelisk. Both it and Tango Madero are good choices for the kind of show you want. I also endorse your plan to skip dinner and just go for the "drinks" show. I believe you can buy tickets in advance or reserve them over the phone (with credit card) and you can dine much better in a nearby restaurant then cab it to the theater. Hailing cab(s) on the street is easy, safe and inexpensive. Just know how to say your destination!

You can more comfortably get to the restaurant in various cabs rather than have a bus circulate to all of the hotels. Then you can comfortably cab it to the tango destination.

    Thanks for the advice!

  7. Our roll call group wants to go to a tango show before our cruise. I have found good reviews for Tango Madero and Tango Patero. I would like one that includes pickup at our hotels as we are all staying all over Buenos Aires. Please do not reply to use the search feature as I have searched and read hundreds. I would like recent attendees recommendations. I also think we will skip dinner unless you tell me it is worth it! Thanks in advance.

  8. Thanks! We'll both be Elite next cruise.

One of the perks we enjoy a lot. On our last two cruises it was on a sea day. Once at 11:00 am (seemed a little early) and once at 2:00 pm. We were sad that on b2b cruises we had the same wine served, but you can't beat free!

  9. If you have already booked flights with EZAir and want to check and see if you can get a better deal, how do you do that without canceling what you have already booked? I wouldn't want to cancel until I'm sure I can get a better deal.

    See my answer above!!

  10. How do you monitor your air prices? When I get on Princess website to check my flight arrangements I'm afraid that I might click the wrong thing and change the flight I already have.

Pull up your EZAir already booked flight under "travel arrangements " and on the left underneath the details there is a hyperlink that says " add or change flights". Click on it and see what flights are available. If you find a better flight or price - just agree to it and book the new flight! I saved $300 PP on a flight to Buenos Aires next year! Good luck!!

  11. What Astro Flyer said is so true!! We have saved thousands of dollars over buying direct. I also monitor prices daily and they do fluctuate! I find prices cheapest on Wed & Thursday! Good luck

  12. 1st time being Elite! Do they send an invitation to your cabin? Or, is this something you have to sign-up for?

Your room steward will deliver your invitation. It only includes those who are elite. If someone wants to attend who's not elite, it is a nominal $9 charge.

  13. Coral is the only choice! They retrofitted the Island and chopped her up badly! Added lots of cabins and did not realize how much it would impact the buffet & theater. I will never cruise the Island again, but loved the Coral! Great size ship that is the perfect size!!

  14. I would never sail the Island again! It is way overcrowded since they added all the extra cabins in the refit. I would choose Emerald in a heartbeat! All public venues do not have enough seating. To get a good seat in theater - minimum one hour before show. If you get there 30 minutes before you will not get a seat. Buffet is impossible to get a table at busy times. Never again!

  15. When you booked the ticket is when you should have upgraded. In the drop down you can choose 4 different classes including business and first. Now you have buyers remorse. This is not a Princess issue / you should have bought the class you wanted when you purchased. Not sounding harsh, just stating facts.

  16. A Caribe deck suite or mini suite would be perfect. That deck has larger balconies and are half sun/shade. You have made a perfect pick for an Alaskan cruise! Coral was our first Alaskan cruise too!
