  1. I'm so very happy for you that you made it through the testing ordeal and can now enjoy the rest of the Cruise. I watched a webinar yesterday about the Australia New Zealand season. Captain Leo was talking about the Eclipse's Transpacific. I got very emotional. I knew I was really excited about the return of cruising in our part of the world, but I didn't realise how emotional I was about it. Thanks again for bringing us along and happy sailing. May there always be Tradewinds behind you, Rainbows above you, and Aloha all around you.
  2. My husband gets very worked up about being rushed. I recently found that letting the Maitre'd know our preference to linger really helped. I was told that other people get annoyed if food isn't served fast enough. No idea that was a thing! Anyway it might help to mention it to them and your preferred seating area. Great photos!
  3. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cic-10Us_oc/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Not sure if this link will work? Beautiful post about Scotland on the Royal Family's IG account. Glad you and Iain are home safe and enjoying the weather. A bientot, Slainte!
  4. I confess I shed a few tears. I'm originally from Scotland, studied in Aberdeen and honeymooned in Royal Deeside. Such a wonderful way to begin her last journey.
  5. Following along. Great photos. Found the answer to my @Jim_Iainlive withdrawal symptoms🤣 We sail on the Eclipse in January out of Auckland, so please take good care of her as she starts the journey "downunder". Enjoy!
  6. Adding my thanks for bringing us along and sharing your wonderful travels. Safe trip home and best wishes for the surgery. I'll need to work out how to manage my withdrawal symptoms 😫
  7. Couldn't have said it better. In a once again turbulent world, it's much more than the loss of monarch that we mourn. Such an incredible example to us all.
  8. I'm so sorry to hear that, hope things are on the up very soon. Having cruises to look forward to and sharing with others is almost as good as being there.
  9. @Jim_IainI had to chuckle when I saw you and Iain in those bright long sleeve tshirts. You reminded me of the Wiggles. You may not have heard of them? They're a very popular Australian Children's entertainment group. I think you'd both make great Wiggles!
  10. So is it now official Celebrity policy that you quarantine in your booked cabin and not the "covid Brig "? Husband still threatening to not go on ourJanuary cruise if there's a risk we get moved🙄
  11. Well said. Health issues crossed my mind too. A number of other syndromes/medical conditions could be added to the list. Perhaps let Celebrity handle it, as they did and the rest of us mind our own 🤔
  12. So we'll likely have the pleasure of Daniel on Eclipse in January? Relying on you to get him sorted 🤣
  13. I remember that. Following your adventures was quite the thriller! We missed our Japan and TP back in 2021 thanks to the lovely Rona 🤣 Need to lock it in again. Be nice to do it on an Edge class.
  14. Spoiler alert if you haven't seen the NZ Fjiords/sounds (best we don't get into that technicality here) maybe don't open this link to Captain Alex's time-lapse https://www.instagram.com/p/B8gQGOCBsDBabrrb2hcGF579tLWM_oQYy4MXEc0/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
  15. Ouch, don't mention Norway to @Jim_Iain☹. Agree NZ is spectacular as were Chile's. I guess they all are really. Makes me realise I prefer wilderness to city hopping cruises these days.
  16. Thought I'd share this. 9 years old and still relevant. Occasionally politicians surprise you
  17. Love those balconies. Had them on the infinity round South America. Bit to handy for snacks from the OV. Loving your review!
  18. Wherever it goes I think it will book out very quickly when they announce it. Like you we are eagerly awaiting. Jim if you do find out, you might need to respond in code so that not too many people find our 🤣
