  1. If your cruise is longer than 5 days, you are correct.  ALL of you need to provide a negative COVID test in order to board (being boosted doesn't matter).  Enjoy your cruise! 🙂

Yes, holland america.  It was phased out very quickly; but saw many of the same types of "defenses" from paying customers.  I think it's a lot easier to implement on Carnival than on the premium brands.

I never see cut backs uncut.  I just see them devolve the product more and more.  The new CEO has a long financial background with Carnival and they've got a huge revenue and cash flow crisis currently. Surely charging $4 for an extra app won't cause anyone to leave...

By the way, love the name. Perfect for a Monday morning.

Somebody's got a case of the Mondays! 😉

Sorry, I don't have it. We were in my late Mother in Law's house. And Jerry was on the Barbara Walter's show. He said his age, and our son said he must have gone to school with you. She said no, but then found her old yearbook in the closet, and there he was.

Small world, indeed!  And no worries about the pic. Thanks anyhow. 👍🏻

I saw Jerry's picture (though he was listed as Jerome) with his hair down to almost the middle of his back in my DW's high school senior year yearbook. I would like to know if he is supposed to be so cool, why he did not know the prettiest girl in his graduating class (a very large class, BTW.)

Haha!  Yeah, I bet he was a total nerd in school. That’s neat though that your DW went to school with him. Also, it’s hard to picture him with long hair!

Edit:  if it’s not too much trouble you should post his pic from the yearbook.

Once again, I wanna thank everyone for following along and contributing. I love reading live reviews and hearing about everyone else’s experiences, so I enjoy getting to do this for y’all.

Final thoughts… the Liberty is really the perfect size ship for us. It’s not too big, but she has enough of the entertainment and food options to sustain a week of sailing. As I’m sure you all can tell, we really love the crew. These people work tirelessly to bring everyone the most enjoyment over and over. Very special people. I’m so excited for them to go home and see their families, and I can’t wait to see who is officially going where next contract. The Bahamas is beautiful, especially Bimini. I know some don’t appreciate Bimini, but I think it’s getting a bad rap for lack of port shopping. Bimini has gorgeous beaches and wonderful people.

As always, feel free to ask any questions, anytime. And I’ll see you all officially for this…

Thanks again for another great review, Megan!  Much appreciated!

Same thing happened in Vegas when they did this to fill rooms. I heard some first hand reports about the conditions on the ground and the low-class atmosphere with some saying it was downright dangerous, even on the strip propper.

Yep, it was bad!  I'm in Vegas 4-8 times every year.  I had never been afraid for my wife and I's well-being on the Strip until right after they reopened post-covid.  Thankfully, it's gotten a lot better recently though (during the past 6 months).
