  1. We enjoy getting off the ship in Nassau, except in really hot months. We usually walk down to Fish Fry and always stop at "Gone Fishin" on the way back. We enjoy the food and enjoy talking to the locals.
  2. My letter was addressed to Alexander...We do not have an Alexander here so I did not take it personally!
  3. The Royal Suite is an awesome cabin. The balcony is not huge but plenty big enough for us. I would bid on it,
  4. Can anyone give us information on the Royal Caribbean Sail and Snorkel excursion? I know it goes to Trunk Bay, Are there chairs, food, drink or restrooms at the beach? Is it very crowded? Is the snorkeling good? We have considered going by ferry and would like to hear other snorkel spots that are good. Is it hard getting a taxi back on St, John to Cruz Bay to catch the ferry. Any information from your past experiences would be appreciated. Donna
  5. We are considering this excursion also. Is the snorkeling from the beach good? Is it very crowded? This will be our first time going to St. John so any help would be appreciated.
  6. Could you tell me what time early dining in the MDR is? We usually do My Time Dining, but it was not available on our April cruise. THX
  7. We got buckets of beer on Harmony in October and Mariner in December. They don't always advertise them, but we always ask. We like to take the bucket of beer back to drink on the balcony.
  8. Marc is my favorite CD. Have sailed with him at least 20 times. He is very entertaining. On a ship as large as Harmony, he has more obligations then he did on the smaller ones, but we still interacted with him plenty on Harmony.
  9. Thank you for posting the compass. I noticed that first seating in the MDR was 5:30. We are booked in April 2020 and our first seating time says 6:00. we thought 6:00 was too early, but 5:30 is definitely too early. May wind up just doing Windjammer since MTD was full.
  10. I cannot speak to sailing out of Galveston or New Orleans, but having spent years traveling with teenage boys, I would vote for Liberty. They loved the Flowrider, sports courts and pool areas. Majesty only has one pool and one children's splash area, so the pool is packed. More dining options as well. Enjoy whichever option you choose.
  11. We just went on Harmony, and I have mixed feelings about her. It was very crowded with older couples who needed wheelchairs and scooters, and young families with strollers. That made elevators pretty impossible as these groups obviously needed them. My biggest complaint there was strollers being left in the hallway outside of staterooms most days. Also, you get not get a seat at Schooner or Pub if there was entertainment, even going early. I had heard horror stories about My Time Dining on this ship, but ours actually went smoothly with 6:30 reservations. I think I still prefer Freedom class and smaller, but will probably give Oasis Class another try one day.
  12. I am confused about the Gratuities on the Sun. Do the Free at Sea Gratuities for the open bar(approx $20) include the $15 per day service charge or do you pay both? Thank you.
  13. Can you share more information about your snorkeling excursion? We will be in Roatan in October. I love Woodwind, so anything close to that experience would be great!
