  1. Ok, so I feel like the answer is a multi layer of possible answers here. Can you walk around with the tumbler with alcohol in it? Yes. No one is going to know if it’s water or vodka. But if you make a dang fool of yourself and it’s alcohol from your cabin that you smuggled in, they can search you and find it and punish you for it by banning you or arresting you to your room etc. I also probably would refrain from making drinks outside of my cabin from smuggled alcohol unless you want to be caught. Someone is always watching… But if the OP is just asking can you, as in are you allowed to carry around an open container or do you have to be in the bar, yes you can carry around an open container.
  2. I think that’s fine! I won’t book a flight before noon, even if the airport is close. But we’ve always flown home on the same day we disembark. Usually because we need to get home for work.
  3. We have never seen sealife… we’ve always cruised with a balcony. I think it’s more about luck than where you are. And obviously geographically I think some areas are more likely to have a lot of sealife to see. But I would really love to. Our next cruise is on the Carnival Mardi Gras, but we’re on deck 14 and I would think at that high up we won’t see much.
  4. How does build a bear sign up work? I’d like to do it with my kids. Is it in the app?
  5. I agree. We’re adding so much already to the staff at the port and I feel like especially at certain ports there’s really a struggle to keep up at times. I feel like at this point it wouldn’t make sense to start it until testing gets dropped. Otherwise it’s just 1 more thing for them to have to hassle with.
  6. Thank you again for taking us along for the fun. Safe travels!!
  7. I don’t think wanting somewhere to have peace and quiet means you need a seniors citizen cruise. I think there’s just something to be said about quiet time and how relaxing that is. I’m a mom and love my kids dearly but dang sometimes it’s just nice to have quiet time!
  8. We’ve never had our luggage lost, knock on wood. But every cruise I’ve been on threes been people looking for missing luggage and that is not a great way to start a vacation. We always carry ours off though!
  9. We’re also balcony or no go!
  10. As a mom of two almost 4 year olds, I completely agree. If the kids are in the kids club I want a place without kids to relax. Yes, the serenity is nice, but like you said, no pool.
  11. It happened on our Princes cruise, but not our Carnival cruises
  12. Oh I’d go with the Celebration. New ship and a fantastic itinerary!
  13. Have a great second half of your cruise! We cruised the Liberty long ago, I never got to see the roof closed!
  14. Yes it’s a “bubble wand” that’s what the cool kids are calling them these days! 😂
  15. I thought the exact same thing!!! What is he holding???
  16. Megan, did you hear anything about someone falling off the pier today on the way back to the ship? It was on a social media group page!
  17. Has anyone who has cruised with kids under 5 years old used the eMed tests? I am just curious if the company will do kids’ tests. I would think they wouldn’t but don’t want to assume. And as far as the results, do they just go to the parent’s email? I’m just curious with the logistics. Do I have to have an online login in with this company in order to receive our results?
  18. We’re not big excursion people. We really prefer to do our own thing. Is there any shopping or anything to walk around and do safely right off the ship?
  19. Does anyone have any current or recent pictures of what carnival has available in the Build a Bear on Mardi Gras? My kiddos are asking and I haven’t seen much discussion about this on CC at all.
  20. Parents with older kids please answer! At what age did you feel like ok my kids can be in their own room. I’d probably book a adjoining room, not one across the hall. And honestly, I’m just price matching and thinking of options, but we’re looking at a summer cruise in the future and dang those prices for the 3rd and 4th person…ouch! So basically 2 balcony rooms wouldn’t really be much more than 1 suite for 4 people. (Sailing Carnival). We’re open to other cruise lines but we really like carnival and feel comfortable there. But at what age did you guys feel like you could have your kids in their own connected room? My twins are 4 currently, so obviously not right now. But it just had me thinking.
