  1. You don’t ever have a problem getting one? I just want to make sure we’re not going to wait a super long time. But it’s a week day cruise arrival and a smaller ship so we’re probably fine.
  2. No there’s no drawers. The couch flips to become a bed so the space allows for storage of the mattress for the bed.
  3. Yes! I have 6yo twins and my son always needs a potty at the most inconvenient time. No matter what we do.. and yes there was always a bathroom close by. You can generally ask any crew member working and they almost always know where the closest is.
  4. Thank you. The cruise line’s transportation is $22/person. So a taxi doesn’t necessarily save money, just might be more convenient.
  5. Found it a little late, but I’m following along. I love your reviews!
  6. I feel like I can’t find anything recent on the conquest. We are booked for a quick getaway on a 4 night out of Miami on the Conquest. How’s the condition of the ship? I was thinking about booking the steakhouse, but haven’t been on an older ship recently. Is the steakhouse still worth it on the older ships? Is there still a cruise elegant night on a 4 night? What kind of deck parties?
  7. Do you know what a taxi would approximately cost from port of Miami to MIA? We have a 12:15 flight booked and looking for the best option to get there.
  8. I would look into SAS Transportation. It will be far cheaper than a taxi to FLL. And they’re super efficient. I’ve used them a couple times.
  9. On the MG and jubilee I had the premium, I could get FaceTime to work all the time. But a WiFi audio call never worked for me so I stopped trying.
  10. More than likely you’ll be in a room for 3 people, which generally has the 3rd person on the couch made into a bed. My kids loved the couch, they said it was comfortable.
  11. Wow, having been on that itinerary, that is a big change and pretty crappy. We would stay on board, just because we fly to port and probably have already spent so much money on our plans. But ugh, what a disappointment for the cruisers.
  12. Thanks for taking us along Megan! I’m finally caught up. Safe travels today!
  13. I’m a little late to join, but I love your reviews and I’m following along. I don’t cruise again until January so I love a good review to pass the time!
  14. Look up SAS transportation. It’s a private shuttle company that will shuttle you from the hotels to the ports, airports to terminal and vise versa. I’ve used them a few times in the past and they’ve been wonderful.
  15. Does anyone have copies of recent fun times? I’d like to check them out to see what theme nights they’ve been doing.. or can anyone tell me what themes they are having currently? I need to get shopping!
  16. Yeah I think it would greatly depend on the number of sea days. If there’s only 2 sea days I don’t know that it’s really worth it. Now for a TA or something I could see it. I would love to try one of the corner suites one day, that would be amazing!
  17. Honestly, maybe $500…but I can’t imagine spending more than that. There’s just too many other things I’d rather spend the money on.
  18. My biggest regret was not going back at dinner time and having some of his non-sweet items. I would have loved to try more!
  19. How was the shop? Food good? Did you eat in the dining room? What about nightlife? I also noticed there’s not much info lately about the conquest and I just booked her for January.
  20. We did the Mayan Ruins tour in Costa Maya and I would do it again. It was an air conditioned bus ride that was about an hour each direction, and maybe about an hour and a half of outdoor sight seeing and touring the ruins site. It was amazing and we had a wonderful and very knowledgeable tour guide!
  21. And these are so worth it!!!
  22. For me, there’s so many variables. Since I’m cruising most of the time with kids, no I wouldn’t spend the money because I wouldn’t have the time to do enjoy it to get my monies worth. If it were a couples cruise, maybe… but even then, $2k is really out of my budget. I was just on the Jubilee in June and I never saw them sold out or busy.
