I took the easy way out and inserted a picture off the internet. This one is much better, and one I just took myself of the very shaker in my pantry.

Here I am quite thrilled with purchasing one of these what I’m calling “drink shakers”from Carnival last summer. I had no idea that a shaker could make a difference in drinks.

No, I’m well versed in reading these Megan reviews. I think this particular instance exceeds all previous shenanigans.

When I drag on my 12-pack of soft drinks, it is ALWAYS Diet Dr. Pepper. In place of coffee each day, I have a Diet Dr. Pepper. If my only choice is a Pepsi anywhere I go, I’m drinking water. That said, enjoy the cruise, and DRINKS UP!

I have always thought the same, that they’d all be great fun. I was sorely disappointed on a few of them.

Always fun trying to figure out how you can put away so much alcohol on a cruise. Following.

I have generally enjoyed all of the piano bars on my previous cruises - except one. I made a point to memorialize the guy’s name for my own future reference, if he ever was afforded the opportunity to get on another cruise on which I was a passenger. I had never seen a less engaged audience than that particular cruise, as it seemed as if he mostly played songs for himself, because it was as if most of the audience never heard the songs that he played.

The ships can’t get into the port at all - ever? That might be problematic.

You, yourself, just said, “rather than complain here…”. Then you continued to complain here. What, exactly, do you hope to accomplish by complaining on a message board than trying to send a letter directly to the CEO of Carnival? Honestly, do you think you’ll change the way an entire company does business by posting on a message board ANONYMOUSLY? Does your experience match that of all those customers on your cruise or other cruises? I think I saw another post where someone posted a link where you switched to another cruise line. Did you contact Carnival directly about your concerns? Do you expect an entire overhaul of their delivery process for you not to switch to another cruise line?

I learned a couple of years ago that there is an alternative tunnel a couple of blocks north of that “Mobile tunnel” that’s a whole lot faster in heavy traffic while traveling to Destin from DFW.

People certainly act stupid on board to the point where they need an escort. I’ve also heard (but have no way of verifying) that they had a warrant before they boarded. Unless we have an inside scoop, it’s all speculation.

Great review, as always, from Willdra. Regarding the guy getting arrested, it's a regular occurrence in Galveston (almost sounds as if Galveston is full of thugs, yes?). There is a webcam that I follow regularly, and the camera operators always focus on the people getting their own personalized disembarkation by the police when the ships arrive.

A good PVP is invaluable to me. My first PVP was great - always called with cruise deals for which we were eligible, and she would call me if I even logged into my Carnival account. She suddenly left - phone number and emails were invalid. I always do my own research, put a cruise on hold and then call my PVP for questions not available to me in an online booking. My newest PVP informed me of a perk for my upcoming cruise that I had NO idea that I was eligible to take advantage of.

Fixed.

I’ve been around here for 11 years. I just use my wise-a** comments in strategic places. I’ve seen enough of Megan’s reviews to know that she was looking for a milk shake. 😉
