  1. I hit 150 on first day of third cruise. Since Platinum ends on day 149 I would be Sapphire on day 150 which is the first day of the third cruise. It really doesn't matter I was just wondering. I know next cruise I will definitely be Sapphire. Did not mean for everyone to go ballistic. I will definitely report back in and let everyone know what happens.
  2. The cruise is completed. We are booked on 3 different cruises with each having a different booking number.
  3. We are getting ready to go on a b2b2b which is booked as 3 individual cruises. I just realized that Platinum is 75 - 149 days and you hit Sapphire on your 150 day, not 151st day. Our first day of our third cruise I will have 150 days. Does anyone think I can get Sapphire status on the third cruise if I go and talk to the Latitudes desk? Just curious. Also, dinner with the officers question. Would it be for one and their spouse or just for me. Dh is 7 days behind me.
  4. Our January Epic cruise itinerary has changed 3 times.
  5. Well, I will buy one, if they can't use it on the ship, they can use it on land.
  6. Nothing wrong with going cheap. We have done that for years. By booking an inside cabin and only getting the promo (drinks and dining package) we are able to cruise a month out of a year. If we went hog wild and booked everything and Haven then we might go one week a year. No thanks, I prefer my month or more a year of cruising.
  7. I know there is a Starbucks on the Epic. I am buying door prizes for our M & G and was considering buying a Starbucks gift card for a prize. Would anyone who has been on the Epic know for sure if you can use the gift cards at Starbucks on the ship. I have read that some ships don't allow it.
  8. You were probably on the ship when I sailed it. NCL Dream was my first cruise ever and we sailed out of New Orleans in early 2005. Loved every second of it. Now 56 cruises later I am still loving cruising!
  9. Well that explains it. Last time on NCL was Feb. 2020 at the start of the pandemic. I knew I had never had this problem. I will do guest services since we aren't getting off the ship other than GSC. I was wondering about the muster drill thingy and you are quite right. Tried calling, they have no clue
  10. I have been on b2b2b's on NCL several times but I don't remember how I did the check in for the last cruise, I could have sworn you could check in before 21 days (last time on NCL 2020). We will be on the ship and I do not want to waste my free minutes trying to check into our last cruise and I have never used my phone for doing such things so it would take me forever. I usually just stick my phone in the safe. How do I check in for the last cruise since when we board check in is not available. Can I go to guest services and do it there?
  11. It was our first experience and have sailed her 3 times and have her booked for 6 more cruises. We love the Epic.
  12. Well, hoping they are going to Amber Cove since there are excursions that have already been booked through NCL
  13. Not gonna happen here. I pay 20% on the drink package. I am not going to tip another dollar or more per drink. I get waited on just fine. I understand you don't have the drink package so that is different to me but with the drink package 20% is enough for me.
  14. Oh I would love with veal, just not the shank๐Ÿ˜ž
  15. I would absolutely get the Osso Bucco if it was lamb but now the menu says it is a veal shank and that is not a very tasty piece of meat to me.
  16. Oh no! Guess I just changed my mind. I do love a good Porterhouse or Fillet Mignon but we have them at home all the time and I don't want to risk getting a bad one. I might try the ribeye since I haven't had one of those in years. Just don't want a tough, chewy steak!
  17. MSC still has twice daily service and their Daily Service Charge is $16.00 pp per day unless you are in the Yacht Club then it is more.
