This is exactly what my DH said. He said what if he wanted a filet mignon or tenderloin, while I was happy with something on the MDR menu. Why pay the upcharge for the limited Murano menu (for example) if we could pay a much smaller upcharge for his steak? As you say, this is even more useful for a group. In truth, there are times I’d rather dine in Murano😜

Select “select another cruise “ under the title of one of your booked cruises. Slide down to the bottom of your cruises and select “browse our ships”. Select the ship and sail date you want to see.

We haven’t sailed in one, but we’ve toured one on a cabin crawl. It looked charming, but it is true that you’d probably need to angle the chairs toward the opening. We could definitely see ourselves enjoying our wee veranda with wine and a few nibbles😎😎 One caveat is that I would personally avoid the forward ones because I’m susceptible to motion sickness. I’m usually ok in aft cabins.

Looks like he’s currently on an Iceland and Ireland cruise and plans to begin posting a review on the Celebrity board starting June 21st.

And they’ve done at least a couple Azamara. Ironically, DH and I just revisited Norris’s wonderful Norway review yesterday in preparation for our Norway cruise leaving next month.

@Bimmer09 has been active on this board in the past. He’s posted some wonderful live reviews with beautiful photos. I haven’t seen him post a Celebrity review since the start up.

We saw the same on our previous cruises, but there are changes on the current sailing on Equinox.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, past changes have often rolled out first to specific regions. The Caribbean was first for the reductions in the OVC offerings at dinner.

Yes, thanks. Did you notice the Indian food, grilled vegetables, and the chef’s specials (usually regional dishes that sometimes include whole grilled fish)?

I don’t get excited about lobster, but I’m not thrilled about cutbacks on salmon and shrimp cocktails. Grilled PBJ? OMG don’t give them any ideas😱😜

Oh no! Shrimp cocktail and Salmon are two of my fallback items on the menu. Match Royal Caribbean menus? That’s not good news. Slightly off topic I know, but I can trust you two for the real scoop. How is OVC? Are you seeing cutbacks in the quality and quantity of offerings at lunch? Dinner?

Just checked the app for the current Equinox cruise, and I don’t see lobster tail on the menu for any of the remaining nights, so the answer would appear to be no included lobster on Chic night.

For those ready to abandon Celebrity, I am curious about one thing. Which cruise line do you believe has a product similar to Celebrity’s pre-pandemic product? We haven’t sailed any other line, and based on complaints about other lines, we don’t see an obvious choice. We are not interested in larger vessels, and we’re unsure about smaller vessels (like Azamara) with minuscule cabins combined with higher prices. We’re looking at HAL and Princess for some of their interesting itineraries, but we see complaints there too.

We also have 7 cruises booked; 4 suites, 1 Aqua and 2 Veranda. We’re having a similar conversation, though ours isn’t based on this rollout alone.

I would think that if people refuse to order items having these upcharges, Celebrity will back off. Of course, they may instead raise fare prices - again - across the fleet. Looking at the current Equinox sailing on the app, they’re offering these “Premium Selections” every night in the MDR. I don’t see them in Blu or Luminae.
