  1. We carried on 4 bottles and 2 were confiscated by the port security as we went thru screening. We filled out some paperwork, left 2 bottles and explained the situation to Guest Relations once we were on board. The two bottles were delivered to our cabin later. The Guest Relations representative pulled up the website where the policy is written and did seem honestly surprised. We were on the Equinox sailing out of FLL
  2. Thanks for the great review. We were onboard with you and live just up the road in Argyle! Small world.
  3. We consulted the FAQ's of the Celebrity site prior to our sailing 7-24 on the Equinox out of FLL. My understanding was 2 bottles per guest. Two of our four bottles were confiscated when we went thru security. We had to go to the "naughty table" and fill out some paperwork and we were instructed to go to Guest Relations once we were on board. I had the page pulled up on my phone for reference when I explained my situation to the Guest Relations representative. She acted surprised that this was listed on the website but found it herself and confirmed what I was referencing as our explanation for why we had 2 bottles per guest. I was not trying to sneak anything onboard, we were hand carrying the 4 bottles in plain sight. I was told that the bottles might be delivered to our stateroom before we sailed. We were not optimistic about seeing them again, but much to our surprise and delight, they were waiting for us when we returned from exploring the ship prior to sail-away. We kept all 4 bottles in our cabin and enjoyed some lovely balcony time.
  4. We had a minor incident at FLL last week when trying to take our 4 bottles on board. Authorities sent us to to the "naughty table" where they confiscated 2 bottles and told us to go to guest services when we boarded and speak to guest services. I was able to show guest services the page on the FAQ's on their website stating the 2 per guest policy. She acted quite surprised, but later that day before we sailed away our 2 other bottles were delivered to our cabin. We were on The Equinox.

  6. Thank you for all of the information. Does each person need to purchase the $14.99 virtual appointment using our own test? I have purchased one and set up the appointment and it asked how many would be testing. It will be my husband and myself, so I entered 2. I have the zoom link and appointment scheduled for this Friday the 22nd. I've tried to contact Onpoint, but this group is much easier to reach! Thanks in advance....
  7. Thank you for your incredible trip report! Your attention to detail is making me even more excited for our July departure on Equinox! After a 12 year hiatus from cruising, I'm ready to be back. Enjoy the rest of your voyage. I'll be reading and taking notes!
