Thx for the update! You’re the only one I know who has ever acquired the complimentary list successfully.

MJN1, Things may have changed, but in the past, Cruise Consultants were not allowed to respond to new email inquiry messages once a passenger disembarked the ship. And, email messages in regards to an existing booking were to be automatically forwarded to an appropriate land based company representative.

Wow! I realize the Cloud is an Expedition ship and thus has a completely different dress code than the Classic fleet, but what you describe sounds like an utter deterioration in standards since the last time I was on the Cloud 3-years ago. I know some here in this forum have expressed their opinion that SS should relax their dress code standards and let people dress however they see fit because what people wear has no bearing on their enjoyment of meal, but I must say what you describe will drive us away if we experience what you have. We sail SS for a variety of reasons, one of which is our enjoyment of the decorum of fellow passengers. As an American, I wear hats regularly each week, but never at a table (or on my way to one for that matter). And, I certainly have zero interest in dining at an indoor venue on SS where men's toes are allowed to freely reign in open-toed sandals or flip-flops. That's just plain nasty.

Questions on travel to Antarctica via Santiago on Silver Wind
Stumblefoot replied to EbonyJ's topic in Silversea
It depends. Yes, there are extras. But, they do not carry much inventory. So, it really comes down to when you are called to try on your selections. Obviously, the earlier you’re called, the more likely you can switch sizes, if necessary. -

Don’t worry jjs217. I was clueless too. I just kept imagining rosewood jo in a similar pose as this fella on the bean bag chair. -
Thx! Good voice.

Amazing! Had to be one of Wellseasoned’s last posts in the forum. Even Unibok rarely surfaces here any longer.

Who is Tom Ball? Never heard of him before.

The tours you listed in your post above (#8) are not included in your cruise fare. Hence, Dr. Ron's reply to you noting how expensive they are.

This has @rojaan19 written all over it!

That’s what I was thinking too. Adds a whole other dimension to the word “stinks”! Clearly, it’s a “known” issue, but the company chooses to ignore it until confronted by a passenger. As we know from reading this forum, the poor Cloud has suffered from sewage smells for years. It’s a shame it’s impacted your two voyages.

Congratulations on the weight loss and boo to the rare disorder diagnosis. Hopefully it will progress very slowly, over many years, and cause minimal disability

JP has a husband? I think you meant to quote the female gourmand, not JP. 😉 If not, then I must ask, how many glasses have you had this Monday night? -

As long as you’re wishing to consume standard brands, you’ll do this with your butler on embarkation day. Now, if there is something out of the ordinary you want to enjoy, then contact SS’s Special Services department at least 3-months before your voyage so they have time to search for the availability of your product and determine whether they can acquire it in time for your voyage, as well as any associated costs to you. With all that said, we just let our TA handle it. The products are never in our suite when we arrive, and the Butler usually gives us one of those looks that says, “no, we don’t have that on board”, but in the end they always find the product for us. It’s like magic. -
That venue in Bergen is pretty spectacular for an intimate concert.

I’m there now and being immersed in elBulli. What a dreamy setting! I can only imagine what it would have been like to dine there back in the day.

Squeeze a night in the Rocky mountains and I’ll make a beautiful beef roast with root vegetables for you if you’ll promise to teach me how to make your proper roasties. Oh, and we’ll raid the wine cellar in your honor too!

I literally just found it and came here to let folks know. You beat me to the punch! Kudos! As I saw the info for the series I was like, how did I not know about this series that first aired on Dec. 27, ‘22? Needless to say, the DVR is set to record the series. So excited!

It’s about the only reason why you have to check a bag, right?
