  1. Thank you for your responses. I had an idea that coins would be a problem, but small bills would be helpful. Well, the front desk either will, or they won’t, so we’ll just have to figure something out if they won’t. No worries, though.
  2. We will be sailing throughout Europe on the Splendor. We will already have Euros with us, but will reception on the Splendor be able to change our larger bills for smaller Euros, such as coins? Thank you.
  3. Thank you CruiseCrew for your super quick response.
  4. My grandchildren will be staying in a Retreat suite, and I wonder if Luminae has a children’s menu. Two of the children are very adventurous eaters, and the other two are not.
  5. This is such great news, Keith. We have cruises booked on both Serenity and Symphony and hope Leo and Remi will be onboard when we are. I keep in touch with just one crew member from the Symphony and he has already been back on board, back home for vacation, and getting ready to go back for the next contract.
  6. We will be a group of 10 on most evenings in Luminae on the Apex, and our TA made a reservation for early seating at the time of booking. Should I assume that the 6:00 reservation no longer holds? Can Luminae accommodate a large group as walk-ins? Thanks.
  7. Thank you so much for your response and clarifying this for me.
  8. My DH and I will be in a Retreat package that includes gratuities, along with premium drinks. Which gratuities will be covered: Drinks that are within the package price, drinks that are above the package price for which we’ll pay the additional charge? Or do the included gratuities only cover dining room staff, room steward, and butler, and all beverage service will add a 20% gratuity regardless of the package? Thanks for possibly clearing this up us🙏.
  9. Thanks for your responses. I think we’ll just keep our special occasions to ourselves.
  10. On an upcoming cruise on Splendor, we will be celebrating a birthday and, a few days later, an anniversary. Will Regent arrange anything special for such events? 🙏
  11. Our most recent Mariner cruise was in October, our first cruise since Covid. We really enjoyed ourselves. The food and service was top notch. Loved being on the ship again.
  12. Ditto. Fell in love with Crystal on the Harmony in 1992.
  13. We were in 1014 last October and thought it was wonderful.
  14. I’m with you dylaness; we try to prepare for every minor health issue that might come up. Our carry on bag contains an OTC pharmacy (and Covid tests), plus our prescribed meds. Unfortunately, no access to Paxlovid. We’ve travelled this way for years, except for the Covid tests.
  15. This is great news for those of us who live in San Diego.
  16. I think this goes for seating, too. Does anyone even try sitting on the chairs or sofas before purchasing? Makes me think of the Symphony’s chairs for The Cove. So many people found them uncomfortable.
  17. I was told by my TA that the Feds have to approve any departure from the U.S., but supposedly that approval was given so who knows why they haven’t filled in the gaps. Maybe they haven’t actually gotten that approval yet.
  18. Here is the port schedule for cruise ships docking in LA which gives berth information. Port Schedule
  19. With the turmoil in air travel these days, a lot of you have inquired about using Apple AirTags. I have not used mine yet, but here is a whole thread from the Celebrity board on them. I hope I have properly linked the thread.
  20. I believe the policy to re-enter the U.S. is that the test needs to be taken within one day bfore flying, not 24 hours. This would give a bit more flexibility.
