How is Butcher’s Cut? I love a good steak! It looks like it’s a la carte. Is it worth paying for? Is the food in the yacht club better than the MDR? I thought I read somewhere that it was made in the same kitchen, unlike Celebrity.

That typically isn’t a big deal for us. We love the sun! Of course, we wouldn’t stay out there if it’s super hot, but usually use it early in the morning or in the evening. I love the pool, which is why I almost didn’t choose this ship since the retreat deck doesn’t have a pool. Did you like the room?

Fantastic! I kept reading we had to. I was hoping that wouldn't be the case for yacht club.

We booked the Retreat on the Equinox for Europe June 2024. I'm super bummer it doesn't have a retreat pool, but being a port intensive cruise I don't think it's as big of a deal. This is major to me. That's why very few people hang out in there. Major plus! I'm not really into room service, but drinks brought to my cabin would be amazing! Especially coffee in the morning! That would be cool!

What do they use?

No tissue?? Is that a European thing too? I have tried just using my hands, but then when I apply my toner with cotton, I would see more makeup on that so I went back to using a face cloth. I also have liquid eye makeup remover. I don’t use soap on my face. I use a makeup remover with a soft cloth made to remove makeup. Then I use cleanser and splash with water to rinse. Yes, I have seen those at hotels before. Well said!

Not to me. I’m thinking more like a cafe mocha. If not, I’ll just add my chocolate collagen powder like I do at home.

Same! We aren’t big drinkers, but bottled water and specialty coffee, maybe a cocktail by the pool or pre-dinner drink, then wine with dinner makes it worth it. I think I read that MSC doesn’t have specialty coffee included in their package. Is this correct?

I buy rags specially made to remove makeup and a makeup remover.

We can use OBC before boarding to buy excursions or specialty dining with Celebrity. However, today I was told by an MSC customer service rep that I have to wait until I get onboard to use it. Does MSC make you wait until onboard to use it?

I hate those things and will bring some just in case, but will still use my normal makeup remover.

Actually, my bad. At the bottom of the invoice they applied the credit for the OBC. Both customer service reps I dealt with today very very friendly, polite and helpful and zero wait time. It was a problem with me not reading the entire invoice! They did apply it correctly. 🙂 Actually, both calls today were handled friendly and professionally. I am quite pleased so far! It was just me not reading the invoice correctly. At the bottom it shows where I still have a $19.90 credit.

I won't sail anything less than a week. Typically that is a different crowd than the longer cruises.

I think I will pick up some as well, just in case. I have been assured being in yacht club this should not be an issue.

I wonder how European women wash their face. I like a new one daily too so not sure what I will do when we go there next summer.

Then what do I use to dry my face and hands? This is silly. Just give us washrags.
