  1. We usually book via a TA but this morning have booked directly via Celebrity's website. I took screen shots of all stages of the booking, entered my cc details for the deposit and the next screen says "Thank you, we look forward to seeing you on the..." and "Confirmation email sent to .....". But no email has arrived (not in spam either) and no charge on the cc. Is there usually a delay or is this typical Celebrity IT? Can't phone as Celebrity closed on a Sunday!
  2. If you get a successful MoveUp does anyone know how long for the Edocs to be reissued (we have the old ones but the labels are now out of date with the old cabin #)?
  3. We had downloaded our eDocs and luggage labels, and then received a successful MoveUp to a sky suite. The eDocs have partially updated but there are no luggage labels. Does anyone know when the eDocs will be reissued?

  5. And yet again the rules have changed today , 22 Aug, in our favour. As we are vaccinated and boosted ie "up to date" in Celebrity lingo, and travelling ex Barcelona for 9 nights with no Greek ports the following applies (and both the UK & US websites match): Up-to-Date Guests*: For all sailings 9 nights or less, no pre-boarding testing is required. For all sailings 10 nights or longer, guests ages 12 and up must present a negative COVID-19 test result from either an antigen test result taken within 1 day prior to sailing or a negative PCR test result taken within 3 days prior to sailing
  6. For anyone from the UK, sailing from Barcelona after 5 Sept, with no Greek ports. I'd queried inconsistent info saying testing 1, 2 & 3 days before cruise. This response from Celebrity via twitter: "......, for sailings out of Barcelona (as per recent updates - starting from 05th September 2022) fully vaccinated guests will need to test within 1 day of sailing. Self tests will be accepted - this includes NHS home tests as long as there is no port of call in Greece. Please refer to this link for the latest information: https://t.co/P3wZF3mfFQ You can bring your self test with you to show at the port and then it will be disposed or you can bring in a photo. Thanks, ......" Good news we can use some of our leftover NHS lateral flow tests.
  7. You said your cruise is on the 24th - Aug or Sept? We 're on Beyond 15th Sept and your response from Celebrity if for Sept would apply to us.
  8. Now I'm really confused. Sailing ex Barcelona, 15 Sept, 9 nights. No Greek ports. Fully vaccinated and boosted ie "up to date". UK website says test required within 3 days of sailing. US website says test required within 1 day of sailing. App says test required within 2 days of sailing. So what is it? 1, 2 or 3 days? Anyone managed to contact Celebrity as I'm having no luck?

  10. Where did you see this, as when I look up the info earlier today and again just now, it is basically the same but says the testing is to be within 3 days of sailing for all pax!!
  11. See the rules have changed again (assuming fully vaccinated). Our cruise ex Barcelona on 15 Sept (so post 5 Sept) now requires a test up to 3 days before, and only because the cruise is 9 nights. This has changed from 1 day before the cruise. If the cruise had been 8 nights then no test required! And Celebrity state "Test results may be presented as a printout, screenshot or photo of the test result or the actual test". Does this really mean I can buy a £2 lateral flow test from Boots and take a photo of the test cassette?
  12. Now I'm getting conflicting info. Our Celebrity app is the same as above stating that you can self test within 2 days of sailing. But the Cekebrity website pages for Bacelona cruises says within 1 day of sailing. So which is it?
  13. For our cruise from Barcelona on 15 Sept the Celebrity website states: 'All guests ages 2 and older must test present a negative COVID-19 test result to board their sailing. A negative test result from any commercially available test, including self-tests, will be accepted. Tests do not have to be monitored or proctored. Test results may be presented as a printout, screenshot or photo of the test result or the actual test". So we can do an unmonitored self test in the hotel the day before and just take a photo of the actual test! Suppose they'll look at the photo properties to see when you took the photo? And I wonder if a NHS antigen test with text/email counts as commercially available?
