You keep posting this crap, but all who have been here for a long time know that for most Caribbean sailings from and back to the same port you don’t even need a passport. If you do use one it just needs to be valid through end of cruise if you can state a SINGLE instance that someone was denied boarding because their passport expired within 6 months of sailing I guess you win the argument

they won't guaranty adjoing cabins with a guaranty booking. You should have picked cabins that were confirmed. Yes it costs more

The scanners at cruise terminals have nothing in common with those in an airport used by TSA. Those at ports accept suitcases just fine. Done all the time. Ever see cruise musician and other employees check in? All their cases go through the scanner
