  1. if reservations are all gone, can you still make them after boarding. A few years ago I remember going to studeo B after boarding to do this
  2. Their made up acronyms because they're too lazy to type. Not everyone here is a cruise 'expert" and would be able to figure it out
  3. Booked with an agent Is there a way to confirm my early dining request online?
  4. Unless you look out a window you can't tell which way is forward unless the ship is moving.
  5. The scanners at cruise terminals have nothing in common with those in an airport used by TSA. Those at ports accept suitcases just fine. Done all the time. Ever see cruise musician and other employees check in? All their cases go through the scanner
  6. not looking for cruise promothion OBC. looking for TA incentive OBC. Reasoning TA doesn't want to give it is because Royal is discounting the cabin
  7. We're D+ and are always hoping that we get the appropiate discount. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. This time the TA is apparently giving us the discount. But no OBC Here is what she wrote "There is no onboard credit when the Crown and Anchor discount is a better fare. Royal Caribbean rules" Maybe an experianced TA here can chime in?
  8. so you actually get 8 days worth on 7 night cruise???
  9. No one going on a closed loop cruise needs a passpot that doesn't expire for 6 months. Always been this way. Some countries require the 6 months if you fly there, not cruise there
  10. You're making a lot of assumptions without knowing any facts. I can drive with a license, but not with a passport
  11. Who said anything about spending thousands of dollars on a cruise? The OP didn't. Maybe that's what YOU spend. The OP may have a very inexpensive cruise booked or in mind that costs a few houndred per person. $165 for a passport (which probably isn't necessary) is a big expensee for such a vacation
