Love the coconut cookies, oatmeal cookies and the white chocolate chip/ macadamia cookies. They make a great late night snack. They should grab them when they see them. Take back to cabin. Can be found in Windjammer, Solarium cafe and the coffee cafe(not sure of deck).

This will be a port intensive cruise. The Enchantment is different in that the buffet is forward and the spa and solarium are aft. I have sailed and will be sailing her again next month (28days). If they have booked My Time dining, they can expect lines and waiting. My personal preference is late dining. Set table waiting for me when I enter the dining room. The Enchantment has been stretched, 75ft added to the middle. Great view of the wake from the rear of the walking deck 5. Ask for a printed copy of the daily from cabin attendant. Leave passports in safe. Be sure to check safe before disembarkation. Be careful with any valuables they bring off ship.

There will be days when you will be without wifi. This is from previous experience. I don't know what it will be like with the new wifi. Someone can answer with newer experience.

We were on the Enchantment's TA. While we tendered out in the Villefranche harbor, the tender took us around the corner to Nice. We did not tender into Villefranche.

Buy a bag with an unusual pattern. Easy to find!

Your marriage license is your bridging document. You should be ok as long as you bring your marriage license.

There are hotels that will provide you with free parking and a shuttle to the port. Do look into those.

Make sure your wife's status is connected to your C&A account. She will the be Diamond as well.

You can cruise without booking a dining package. The main dining room and the buffet are both included in the price of the cruise. There are some new cruisers who don't realize this.

Thank you for the information. The annoucement made in March gave no indication of the use of a voucher. The annoucement was misleading.

The purchase of a bottle of wine for those who are Diamond or above is 40% off under $100 and 20%off over $100. Vouchers have nothing to do with the purchase. They are entirely separate. Just checked the website.

I have not seen any mention of using a diamond voucher to buy a bottle of wine.

Travel agents generally release cabins after final payment. Royal Up is for last minute cancellations and empty cabins never sold. Cruising this weekend. Only a couple of cabins available on out TA on Enchantment. Wouldn't be surprised if we sail full as the QM2 just cancelled it's TA for same day.

We walked into town and took the local bus to the gardens. Did the reverse back.

Had lunch in a 5 star hotel in Antiqua, Guatemala. They boasted that Bill Clinton had eater there. There were four of us. One had fish and was OK, Two shared a local sausage delicacy with their meal. They were both violently sick for 2 days. I had something but did not taste the sausage delicacy and was fine. You can eat at any restaurant and get sick.

I got sick on escargot as well. Got a bed snail. I was fine the next day. These days, I thing the escargot on the ships just don't have enough enough garlic!

I have sailed both ships. Will be doing the Enchantment TA in just a few weeks. The Anthem is more in tune for indoor activity as it was designed for sailing in cooler temps. I don't like the Anthem. It is too big. I prefer smaller ships. Enchantment only has Chops and Chef's Table. It would be nice if it had another special restaurant. It is designed differently than other ships. The Windjammer is at the front of the ship. Solarium is further aft. Spa is totally aft. I can't say the Enchantment is my favorite ship but it is good. Planning to book a B2B2B for next fall on her.

Years ago, my BIL sent a new suit to be cleaned. (This wasn't on Royal.) They washed it! It was ruined. The crew cobbled together the cost of the suit to reimburse my BIL. If it had been reported to the higher ups, they would have lost their jobs.

You can also share the WIFI package you have. Use it one at a time rather than together. Another way is to use your free wifi noon to noon. Do that 4 times and you will cover 8 days.

My parents cruised. They had a cruise booked over Easter. I decided to join them last minute. DH promised me a cruise for our 25th anniversary. We have been cruising ever since.
