  1. Sorry to hear you missed out on the specialties you could have gone to. It is clearly listed on the left side of the "OR" what your other options were.
  2. Thanks Henry..appreciate it!...will get me over the hump of Sapphire on next cruise!
  3. So I came across an old post talking about the codes for latitudes points and saw this: LATBONUS 1 extra latitudes point per night LATDBLX 2 extra Latitude points per night If I am reading that right (and also if the definitions haven't changed) Wouldn't having the code of LATDBLX mean a total of 45 points for a 15 day cruise and LATBONUS would mean 30 points for a 15 day cruise? Math may not be a strong point for me! 🙂
  4. That would be great!..I have a feeling that as more and more people discover that itinerary a goodly number of folks here on CruiseCritic will be jumping at that cruise...the more the merrier!
  5. Heading back your way! While Prima wasn't our favorite cruise there's a 15 day cruise out of NYC in November on Getaway (Wish it was a Plus ship but I digress 🙂) Just too good of an itinerary to pass up even if there's visible areas of cutbacks.
  6. We feel the same...there were many strong points along with many weak points for us on this cruise. Much of the food for us was Meh. Cagneys was really not good for us and we went twice just to be sure 😉 Indulge for us ended up being Inedible..one and done there and probably one and done on Prima as well. (Normally I am not a complainer and have missed cruising terribly....not a very good way to get back into it.)
  7. Recieved an email basically saying our bid to upgrade hasn't been accepted yet but is still under consideration and could possibly be accepted up to 0 hours before leaving. In other words at the pier. (We leave tomorrow on Prima) So I am wondering if there would be a problem getting luggage that will already have been tagged and dropped off with cabin number if we get changed (upgraded) at the pier? Will NCL somehow flag that the luggage will have the wrong cabin number on it and needs to be rerouted? Second question is on prescriptions....Is it ever a problem bringing on prescriptions (like in a daily container) that would not have a prescription label?...or would it be better not doing it that way. Thanks!
  8. No way! The seas we are about to go through will be much rouger than that! (kidding)
  9. Call me cynical...but I very much doubt if it will be enforced.
  10. Yaaaaaaaay!!! It's getting real now! In only 4 days after sailaway I will finally remember what I forgot to bring!
  11. Does anyone remember/know where we go to add/change/delete dinner reservations when we board? Is there any possibility of doing it through the NCL mobile app?
  12. I just finished the cliffs notes version of this...would it be OK for me to drive the boat?
  13. @HBCcruiser @oteixeira maybe the visor one is a tad more subtle 🤣
  14. Thank You for the recognition!...I would also like to throw the name of @peg013 into the mix as a great contrbiutor to the groups and the leader of the LCR delegation.
  15. Following! At least until Sunday when we board....I tend to be "off the grid" when cruising and just soak up the experience. Will catch up on anything I miss when we return.
  16. Thank you so much for a great review and done in a "Fresh Air" Manner. We are very excited to set out on Prima Next Sunday and this has helped a lot. I do understand that not everything can be perfect on a cruise and there will be certain disappointments. However I am so tired of reading the hugely negative posts all the while knowing many of those posters are doing nothing but trolling. Thanks Again!
  17. Leaving on a 7 Day Bermuda Cruise in a week and as far as all the negative comments about Prima go "I can't hear you"
  18. Thank you...we are cruising on Prima leaving NYC April 30th. We are very excited for the cruise (our first since the Covid shutdown) We are meeting up with a small group of cruising friends. There's a part of me that almost hopes that it has been closed (at least until someone can take it over that isn't trying to rip people off) I appreciate your thoughts on this so Thanks Again
  19. I totally understand your feelings about it (actually mediocre is a generous term) but what you don't understand is that there are people out there with mobility issues and that location is best for them due to proximity of the ship. So is there anyone else out there that knows if it is still open or not?
  20. Anyone know if Snorkel Park Beach is even open anymore? Reason I ask is their web site used to be located here but they have let their domain expire? http://snorkelparkbeach.com/
  21. Anyone know if Snorkel Park is even open at all anymore?
  22. Can't say that I have had either....but I am wondering if @cruiseny4life might be familiar?
  23. I won't tell if you won't...truth be known in all of the years I have lived here...I never once even actually *tried* a garbage plate! 🤣
  24. Forgot to mention that we live in Greece too....and I prefer to think of myself as a very graying old hippie but definitely not a "Greecer" (all apologies to John Travolta! 😉 )
