  1. When we sailed Prima in May there was no coffee maker in our cabin when we arrived..we asked our steward and he had us one within an hour.
  2. I can faintly hear a very old commercial saying: "Try it....you'll like it" 😉
  3. If you end up boarding her it will be epic.😃
  4. Please bring me one back! (But don't let it melt 😄) Those sundaes on Prima in the Local really are good.
  5. Well all I can say is that for some reason I must be lucky. I have recieved the drink card on every cruise I have been on in the last 10 years or so. I have kept it visible while playing but have never given it to any of the servers. (I actually try to at times but they don't want it) I have never had the Free at Sea Drink Package. I have always given the servers my cabin card and have always recieved comped drinks in the casino. (Multiple ships and multiple cruise destinations) Now if only my luck with the drink card would actually carry over to the casino itself! 🤣
  6. Nope..no free at sea drink package (we don't drink enough to make it worthwhile for us) Even in the Casino we only get an occasional drink as well. Definitely not high rollers as our usual comp. for a cabin is an inside which we upgrade to a balcony. Our first cruise since the start of Covid was just this past May on Prima (We were also Jade) and once again were never asked for our drink card and never was charged. Between myself and my wife we probably had about 8 drinks total on a Bermuda cruise.
  7. Well I *am* sure it's true... at least for me. I have *never* been asked for my drink card and anytime I have offered it the server would say they need my cabin card. (and never took the drink card) Never once have I been charged for a drink I was entiled to.
  8. Just to be sure you can always call CAS and based on your reservation they can tell you if you are entitled to drinks in the Casino. My guess is that you will have it. Frankly the physical drink card is more for decoration than anything else. Anything you are entiled to will be tied to your cabin card. I have never seen anyone use their drink card for anything more than hanging from their bungee cord/chain 😃
  9. No goof at all on your part...but Casinos at Sea should really fix that (there's prolly some other errors there as well)
  10. I am also a newbie for getting vibe passes and had not heard about this. So you are saying that if I purhase a vibe pass for both myself and my wife that we are automatically entitled to a cabana inside Vibe?
  11. We may all be getting a bit older but it has been one hell of a ride enjoying the best music ever! And it all sounds new to me even today.
  12. I am not positive but I think Fire and Ice might still make occasional appearances on NCL ships.
  13. If at some point there could have been a trio with Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty, and Steve Perry those 3 iconic singers together would have been light years beyond amazing. One of my favoritie Stevie songs:
  14. Coming from me IMHO quitting is/was the hardest thing I have ever done. There is a physical addiction to nicotine and as you mentioned there are many aids that can help with that piece. To me the really tough one is the psychological piece. (the mental association of having a cigarette while doing certain activities..cup of coffee, with a beer, after dinner, talking on phone, etc etc. No matter how long I have quit for before....the urge to light up on those occasions never really does go away totally. That urge goes away quickly..but never really stops happening.
  15. and I will never miss an opportunity to say: "Go Bills" 😉
  16. I always knew that some people liked to put stickers of some sort on their cabin doors (presumably to help them find their cabin) I never knew about the pineapple sticker thing though...presumably where *everyone* can find that cabin. Alllriiiiiightyy then! 🤣
  17. Now I really do feel out of the loop....what are these pineapple stickers you speak of...or shouldn't I ask? 😏
  18. Port: New York City. I know many people only consider this an area to sail out of but to me the view of the Skyline on the left, Statue of Liberty on the right, and sailing under the Verrazzano Bridge and finally out into the open ocean can't be beat! Ship: Tie between Escape and Bliss Cabin: Aft Balcony viewing the wake..which can be mesmerizing.
  19. Have had the same problem with a CAS reservation. Talked to a tech and all they could do is to verify that there is a problem with reservations but no idea as to when it would be fixed. I doubt that this is in any way a new policy but rather just a technical problem that will at some point be fixed. Ended up calling CAS and made all dinner reservations over the phone for a November cruise.
  20. I do understand Jim...The Escape and Bliss are our 2 favorite ships by far. Decided to book Getaway due to the 15 day length of cruise along with hitting some of our favorite ports along with a couple we haven't been to before. Will see how it goes in a few months. I am not sure if they have given up on many of the 14 day cruises in Winter out of NYC....but this seems to be close. With a little luck and praying to the snow gods maybe early November will be kind to us up here in the tundra!
  21. So you're saying Jim that there is still hope?!?! 🤣
