  1. When you are in the haven, you can ask the butler to serve your dinner from the main dining room or specialty restaurants. We haven't done it personally, but know it can be done but we haven't taken advantage of it before. I do think there needs to be advance notice. Maybe others can chime in?
  2. New question - We will be sailing on the Prima. One of our party has mobility challenges so we may do more meals in our cabin than normal. Usually we only do maybe one or two room service meals during dinner. I really LOVE the fried rice at the teppanyaki style restaurant which is Hasuki on the Prima. However, since that is the one restaurant I go to every cruise, the show is a bit old. I wonder if we can order from Hasuki to be served in our suite? Obviously it would come already cooked 🙂
  3. Which ship? Suite / Haven guests on Jewel class ships have one restaurant designated for "suite / haven" breakfast and lunch, but not dinner. They will tell you which one - it might be Cagney's but it varies.
  4. Anyone on the booking can have their CruiseNext applied when doing the booking. I was the third passenger and used one of my CruiseNext credits on a booking a few years ago. For Free at Sea - the Specialty dinners go ONLY to the first two on the booking.
  5. I was just watching a review of the solo lounge on the NCL Prima and they had cookies (looked like only one kind) in the solo lounge.
  6. I was just watching a youtube video that is maybe 4 months old and they showed COOKIES in the Observation Lounge between 3PM and 5PM! I wonder if that is still happening?
  7. I've always sailed on Jewel class and Sun class. I found CoCo's!! Thanks!
  8. Same question! and if cookies, when & where?
  9. We were able to upgrade only one of the wi-fi packages on the ncl website. However, when we tried to upgrade the other one later, it wouldn't let up
  10. I had them in April - dinner only - nutella, various fruit type fillings, etc
  11. I am reading the cancellation policy on NCL.com and am confused. If I cancel a cruise over 150 days prior to the cruise, I see that I can do that with no penalty so I should get my credit card deposit back and my Cruise Next certificates should be returned to my account. However, I am reading that refunds need to be requested in writing. Can I cancel a booking online? If I need to call, can it be cancelled and the stateroom immediately available for someone else to book? or does that take some amount of time? Thanks!!
  12. We boarded in San Diego this past Sunday. As part of the check in process, the person checking us in verbally asked my party as a group if either of us had experienced . . . . . We all said no, and that was it.
  13. Every cruise I have been on, both of the main dining rooms serve the same menu on the same night.
  14. It was great. My friends had done a similar excursion a different place with a ship tour (I think - she said there were 40+ people). They said this one was much better. We got to shell the cocoa beans after she cooked them and we mashed some into paste. We got to watch her make, and then taste, the first "tea" made from our shells, then the first "hot chocolate" made with water and the paste we made. Some got to help grind the rest of our cocoa beans into paste and blend them into the milk mixture for the first "hot chocolate" made w/ milk in Europe. Like your group, we did make chocolate in molds and brought that back with us.
  15. My friends and I were upstairs doing the 2 hour "Beans to Bar" while you were on the second floor doing your workshop!!
  16. I was also disappointed that they didn't put the current day's dinner menu on the app each day. Since they rotate through the same menues it seems that it wouldn't take that much to put the current menu up each morning (and they could head it "main dining room menu for Wednesday" etc to make it less confusing for those looking late night or early morning)
  17. Maybe it was thousand island, not french, dressing . . . 🙂
  18. This is NOT true as of today on the NCL Jewel
  19. I don't have any allergies, but have dislike for any kind of salad dressing, any of the normal "spreads" put on hamburgers, etc, etc. Between cruises and trips to Panama, I've gotten pretty good at being very specific. I just got back from lunch - I had my Shrimp Louie with NO french dressing and NO picalilli. It came exactly as ordered. I also ordered my salad with no dressing and it came that way. Last night at dinner, I had fried mushrooms. I can't remember know what the "sauce" was, but I asked for them without the sauce and they came as I ordered them.
  20. On the Pearl I was able to get root beer at a bar - can't remember the name - mid-ship elevator down to the floor that has a lot of bars and it was the 2nd one down - I think where they did tastings?
  21. Does he consider all Dr Pepper to be "cherry"? I like plain old original Dr Pepper (but not the one with "real sugar")
  22. But NO Dr Pepper in the vending machines and none on board 😞
  23. I'm a Dr Pepper girl so neither Coke or Pepsi make me happy 😞
  24. It is NOT shared - each of you get 150 minutes. Of course, after you use yours, you could log in as him and use his. Just be sure to LOGOUT after each use 🙂
  25. For my cruise on the Jewel next week, my reservation shows PV on Wed and Maz on Thurs but the map shows us doing Maz before PV. cruisedig.com shows PV on Wed and Maz on Thurs cruisemapper.com shows Maz on Wed and PV on Thurs cruisetimetables.com shows Maz on Wed and PV on Thurs. crew-center.com shows PV on Wed and Maz on Thurs. mazatlanlife.com shows Jewel in Maz on Thurs. puertodevallarta.com shows Jewel in PV on Wed.
