  1. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your coma to help me out.🤣 Are the back elevators and stairs blocked from getting to the bar? Have a blessed evening!
  2. Loving your review, so are my cats. Not sure if you can answer this but I just booked an aft wrap on the Venenzia, its listed as a TM, does that mean we are allowed into the private terrazza area, if so do we have to enter mid ship at the private entrance or can we go down the stairs and get in, we are on 8th floor. Enjoy the rest of your journey!
  3. Thanks so much for your informative review, we were on the Escape in March, we are going on Escape again in Dec. I don't remember seeing Pinchos, can you tell me what the CAB means on the menu for Pinchos, it says grilled CAB beef skewers, is CAB Certified Angus Beef? My husband only eats chicken or beef and I want to try this restaurant, I just want to make sure that is a beef only dish. 😱
  4. Thanks so much for this review, we won't be on the seashore until January, 2024, not in Yacht club, just a side angled balcony, I wish the aft facing balconies only over looked the wake and not the pool, I would rather be in one of those.
  5. Have a wonderful cruise! I hope you do a review, we are going on Seashore January 2024, we prefer an aft facing cabin but not crazy about the ones on the Seashore so booked the cabin next to the side cabins that have a whirlpool on the balcony, our balcony is a bit larger than normal. We are hoping the folks in the whirlpool balcony cabin don't stay up in it all night partying!😝
  6. We normally book aft facing suites or just regular aft balcony cabins but we booked a forward facing suite on the Spirit and were able to use the front facing balcony and the side facing balcony, wind was not bad when sitting. That was one of our all time favorite cabins, loved the huge bathroom and 1/2 bath at entrance as we were sailing with another couple and they would come over to our cabin a lot. Teo was our butler, it was a while ago so he is probably not there anymore but he was exceptional.
  7. Sorry in advance for answering the hijack but here is my 2 cents. I am always looking for an itinerary that includes St Lucia, we took a speed boat to snorkel at the Pitons, it was one of the most memorable cruise days we've had, right up there with the panama canal, we hope to go back someday.
  8. I see Epic is going to be the only NCL out of Port Canaveral December 2024, been on her, not my favorite ship only because of the sink in the bedroom area, seemed a very small area. Let me know if you find a way to store things in that area, we might have to sail her again, maybe I am not remembering correctly. Hope you are having a fantastic time!!
  9. We went to cruisenext desk on day 2 to sign up for wine tasting, was offered dinner with officer and behind scenes tour but refused as we only wanted wine tasting, the fact that they were pushing the dinner and behind the scenes maybe means you could sweet talk them into putting you on a wait list, tell them you will be eligible after cruise, we are sapphire and there was hardly anyone at the wine tasting and the Escape was full that week.
  10. Copied from my own post above: We tip 25% usually when home and those servers are able to go home to their families after work, the cruise staff go back to an inside room and don't see their families for months.
  11. Totally agree, we don't tip to get faster or better service, we also feel it is a thank you for being there for us to enjoy our vacation, we are very generous with all waitstaff and room attendant. We tip 25% usually when home and those servers are able to go home to their families after work, the cruise staff go back to an inside room and don't see their families for months. We had a wonderful server in Cagneys last week, his wife was also on the ship in the MDR, beautiful young couple, but most are away from all family members.
  12. Where are the terms, I bought 2 on board a week ago and want to cancel them, is there a return policy?
  13. I would pay to have them leave it off. Thats why I have never eaten Veal and never will, some inhumane practices still exist for those poor little calfs.
  14. Thanks so much for replies, I think I will stick to beef!
  15. Hoping someone could post a pic of the filet de loup de mer at LeBistro, I am not a fish eater but would like to try sea bass, I don't want to be disappointed. For me a lot depends on looks, not just taste, any help would be appreciated.
  16. I remember reading a few years back that the morning they cleared the ship after one of the music cruises it took them a long time to clean up the ship so embarkation was held up for the following cruise.
  17. Thanks so much, I should have realized things have changed, those look like fun, will be trying them out in a few weeks.
  18. Do you have to use soft tip darts, we do not have any but would bring our own regular tips
  19. Enjoy your anniversary dinner and Happy almost Valentines day! Do you remember if you boarded on the deck with the guest services desk in Port Canaveral on Saturday? Thanks for the review, looking forward to our March cruise on the Escape.
