What's going on with you lot today? I can't turn my back for 5 minutes. I was a bit late getting in here today and there are pages and pages to get through.🤣 We are off later to London, paying a fortune for two rooms just to sleep for a few hours, ready for tomorrows adventures. Needs must as it is a 6 am start. Just have to pay up and forget. Have a good day everyone

I wonder how may cancers are found incidentally, No cancer, but happened to me too. While trying to find agonising groin pain they found unrelated artery obstructions in my legs. Had two stents put in. Still not found the groin pain but have found the back problems. Going in on Thursday to London for epidural in hip, more spinal injections (different than before) and some radiofrequency treatment. Surgeon feels that if we throw the book at it it might find the groin problem itself, He suspects a nerve in the stomach. At one stage it was breaking my heart seeing OH tearful beside me when hanging on the wall in agony, because he felt so helpless. Also not happy that with the side effect of one of the meds I have put on nearly 10 kilos. As an aside, we have to be there at 7 am so have to travel in the night before. I dare not think about the hundreds for hotel bill when we will only be there for a few hours sleep. I found out that the hospital got a 'good' discount at a local Hotel. I enquired. They wanted £750 for three of us!!!

I apologise but think I may be misunderstanding here. How will the gentleman manage on board. I didn't think you could use the on board assistance ones. When I needed one it cost me £200 to hire (motorised)

I give up!🤣 More than one strange thing has happened this week. This morning I sensed movement in my bathroom, looked down and a small army of ants were marching across the floor. They scattered by my feet so went everywhere. Its not even an actual outside wall, it where an extension joins. Seems like a strange place and strange time of year to me. I hope they don't get into my bedroom, it's very close. Any Ants in your Pants thoughts Kalos??????🤣🙃

Here we go again, wide awake! Watched a bit of TV, just completed a weeks supermarket order. Don't know what to do now, I don't read at night as I don't like a bright light and small print. I wish I was tired at bedtime like normal people😊

Goodness, I don't watch many films and you have quoted most of those I love. I haven't seen The Proposal but will look out for it. I only like happy films, love Mamma Mia and Bridget Jones. Have you seen Mrs. Caldicotts Cabbage War, its a simple silly film but can be watched over and over again because it is fun. Enjoy your weekend

Surely safety comes in here. One cruise line did tell me how many passengers needing assistance are allowed but I have forgotten how many (pro rata) I have never felt it to be discrimination. There must be limits. I always say that if one of the ships did a 'Titanic' I would be first up he stairs as the adrenaline would kick in!!😀

Not insignificant at all. Welcome to Cruise Critic. Very helpful on here and very friendly. The only one I can really comment on is re excursions. We are off to the Fjords in May and people say The Flam Railway one is good, if you are going there of course! It is one of the excursions people say is best booked through P and O as it cuts out the queues which can be long when the big ships are in. I'm sure someone can give you better advice on that,

I am ashamed to say....went to a pub for lunch (to suss it out for a family 'do') and ordered ham ploughmans. Well, it was gigantic, and enough for three, the ham was quarter of an inch thick. I have a good appetite but no way So I pinched OH's serviette and shoved half the ham in my handbag for my tea! mmm😃 No the type of behaviour for a lady cruiser😊

Selbourne, I'm with Brian1 with his comments on Cunard Club. They make you feel very special in the restaurant. I used my little scooter in the evenings and every time I entered Paolo was there ready to help, and was standing behind my chair. We never did find out how he knew we were arriving as he couldn't see the corridor. Club is great. Its similar to once having a balcony always wanting one, once Club always wanting Club. I hope they make Lady Selbourne feel as good and as special as they made me.
