  1. We have it booked for the last night! We don't do a lot of specialty restaurants, but that one is so unique we had to try it.
  2. First time on Celebrity for us! I was bummed, also. I had been looking forward to your review so I could learn more about the ship before we sailed. How are you doing healthwise these days?
  3. It feels like forever since we last cruised. For a while, we were going every 4 months, which was perfect for us. But then we went to Washington, DC last March over spring break instead of cruising, so now it's been 8 months since our last one. Can't wait!
  4. I booked one over the weekend, but it was on purpose. 😂 For the next few days, we actually have 4 cruises on the calendar. That's a record for us. Our Beyond sailing embarks on Saturday!
  5. There are some pictures of similar cabins nearby those on CruiseDeckPlans dot com. I have stayed in a forward-facing cabin on a Princess ship, and the motion wasn't an issue for us. We really enjoyed having the forward view.
  6. Thank you for sharing. I am so encouraged by your positive outlook in spite of your challenges; it is a good reminder to all of us. I so appreciate all of your posts, and especially the pics of your grandchildren. I am so sorry that you are seeing these rapid changes and that it affects your ability to do the things you love. Please continue to share updates and pictures and jokes! ♥️
  7. My cats get the dregs that are left in the cereal bowl after I've finished, and it never seems to bother them. It's just tiny bit. My cats aren't interested in people food other than dairy products. Lucy in particular goes nuts when she smells something with sour cream, yogurt, milk, or cheese. She will sit in the chair next to me at the table and put her paw on my arm to remind me not to forget to share when I'm done. 😂 The only other thing she likes is the juice from the tuna can when Brian makes himself a sandwich.
  8. Thank you!! Haha, he would LOVE to be on that giant balcony again. If he could find a way to stowaway on your sailing, I'm sure he would! 😄 He's a couple of years older now and a whole lot taller...
  9. We stayed in 7388 on Adventure on a cruise over Thanksgiving 2022. LOVED it. It was one of my favorite cruises even though it was a shorter one. That cabin in particular was so nice with the extra-large balcony (we also had its counterpart on Liberty in 2019). The ship is a little dated, but it was well-maintained at that time.
  10. Unfortunately, our Ring is on the front of our house, and all of that took place on the side. We live on a corner and have streets on the front and the side.
  11. Remember that big storm in our area at the end of May? All of the downed trees & branches are still piled up by the streets waiting to be picked up by the city. They say they have now completed 50% of the pickup, but it really doesn't seem like it. In the meantime, normal bulk trash pickup has been suspended indefinitely while they focus on storm debris. That means the usual junk people would leave by the curb is not getting picked up for an even longer time. The city has stressed that they will not pick up the branches if there is any bulk trash mixed in. So someone in our neighborhood, not wanting their own house to be junked up by their trash, dumped a loveseat and a wooden pallet in our storm debris pile this morning. It's too big to fit in our cars to take to the dump. Brian moved them away from the branches so at least the city won't skip it, but now our yard looks like a trash pile due to rude neighbors. There's nowhere else for us to put it.
  12. WOW, what a beautiful port. It's a shame that your time there was so short. I loved all of the kitty pics. 🙂
  13. This was our experience in Washington, DC, too. All day long.
  14. You went to bed at 2:00 am and got up at 6:00 am? On purpose? On vacation??
  15. I'm sorry you are still having problems afterward. I hope your doctor will be able to put your mind at ease when you meet with him to discuss the results. Hang in there.
