  1. One thing you may very well want to remember/consider is that if you have a pre-existing condition that any plan you buu covers that. A reputable TA should be able to navigate it for you with their offered policies.
  2. Look into Travel Guard, which our TA sourced for us.
  3. Looked into the insurance pretty thoroughly. Our TA is very familiar with us and our medical histories and found us an excellent plan and premium…..cheaper that what RSSC offers with better and more coverage. Purchased it today for our March TA on Splendor.
  4. Very strange. We are on Splendor in March and have already booked 2 classes. Some others were already sold out.
  5. Lots of people on this Board can’t quite figure out why wines aren’t published either. It would be very helpful to those cruising at a particular time. We order Dino from Goldbelly…..always very good but miss the “ambiance” of the bar/restaurant. where is your cruise to?
  6. Mpomp……Regent seems to have an issue with publishing their wines. Wines on board tend to be “ok”, unless you go to their connoisseur wine list. We were on Splendor in March and doing another Splendor cruise, trans Atlantic, this coming March. We enjoy our wines and have found poured wines onboard to be “acceptable”. We usually order a nice bottle at dinners from the connoisseur list to pair with whatever we are having for dinner that evening. We lived in B’Ville for 12 years. Wish there was a Dinosaur BBQ onboard.
  7. We were in Suite 1201 in March for a Caribbean cruise, and there was significant vibration felt during the evenings. We attributed it to being forward and high on the ship. Our upcoming TA for next March will be in a Suite on deck 10…..hopefully we will not have that persistent vibration there.
  8. We found, even aside from no sake, service and food at PR in March were both well below Regent standards. We will be back on Splendor next March for a TA from Miami to Lisbon, and will try PR again one evening. If service and food have not improved, we will avoid a second evening there.
  9. We were on Splendor in March and PR was our least favorite dining venue. It did not help that they had zero sake to offer.
  10. That his the info I was looking for, and now remember. Many thanks for the speedy reply.
  11. I have in the past read terrific recommendations of a company that provides cruise insurance, but I have lost the info. Would certainly appreciate input from those who have used this company.
  12. Sorry for the confusion....our suite allows for guaranteed reservations at any dining venue each night. We will most likely give PR another chance but if no improvement, we will go to the other venues where we know food we enjoy will be served.
  13. We were very disappointed with PR on Splendor on our March sailing......from food to service. We have just put a hold on a 12 day March TA on Splendor and hope, should we do this cruise, for a better outcome in PR. We will have guaranteed reservations every evening so know we will eat well and to our liking.
  14. That was our Regent hotel on our March Splendor cruise. We decided to just have a quick meal/appetizers at the hotel restaurant on the 25th floor. Good food and drinks without leaving the hotel, where the lobby is on the 25th floor. A nice evening then into a comfortable room before embarkation the next day.
  15. Pays to complain! Just being a smarta#@. Good for you to do that….Regent cruises are expensive enough and one should expect a seamless vacation. Beginning to end.
  16. That is exactly what happened on our Splendor cruise in March. We were instructed to leave luggage outside assigned hotel room by 8 embarkation morning and they were delivered to our suite without us having to handle them. Very smooth process. Regent will give instructions to follow and you just have to show up onboard and luggage should be in your suite. Just make sure to fill in supplied tags for your suite.
  17. For our March Splendor cruise, the assigned hotel in Miami was the AKA Brickell. The buffet breakfast provided in a ball room was very underwhelming. Had we known, we would have gladly paid in the restaurant ourselves.
  18. Most of us make mistakes. I’m sure i will join that group at some point…..😇
  19. ‘Free Airfare” is a misnomer. You pay for that with your cruise fares. If you choose to book your own flights, you are subject to a reimbursement on your air travel. Like virtually all cruise lines, the word “free” is very loosely thrown out there.
  20. This gentleman is a Canadian cruise travel agent and just posted this on his You Tube channel.
  21. Time flies….our cruise on Muse was indeed in 2017.
  22. I did post my review of our Med cruise on Muse on the SS board detailing experience with dress code as well as more misses than hits with dining venues, almost immediately after our cruise was over. I don’t feel any attacks here…_we all have our likes, dislikes and opinions and I respect others have differing viewpoints than mine.
