Is it the same water from the tap as what they serve you in dining rooms and buffet? I drink TONS of water and there's not way the little 12 pack would last me more than a day and a half. Was thinking about buying Momoa's water.

Mine worked for DMW and reserved for the same time every night. I didn't have to do each night separately and got a private table at the time I wanted. I have an "older" phone (2+ years?), Samsung Galaxy A51. After the last last update everything worked for me. However the port guides don't load. Strangely enough at first, it was the ONLY thing that worked, but now it's gone. Which is fine bc I'm not booking Princess excursions anyway. Since they want us to prebook everything, I wish there was a way to see each night's menus on the app for each itinerary or ship, even before we step foot on the ship so we can decide if we want to book specialty or not. And then just put an *subject to change without notice if they want to cover their butts. But for the most part, like first night is usually the same, first formal night etc.

You hit it right on the head. It's one of the reasons I quit my job last year. Many many years in retail (owner and as an employee) and the last few years people are so entitled everywhere. "I paid for this so I expect...." Prices have gone up everywhere. Just look at the gas prices. You cannot expect the same product for the same price from years ago. Years before covid much of what I read on here was that cruising isn't like the old days. Some people will always find the negative no matter what. I get it I used to be one of those. Read any of my old reviews and you can see that. We should all be grateful we have the time and money to be able to vacation and cruise. The crew members work so hard and they need to work. If everything is so bad about cruising, why are there so many of you still cruising? I have an upcoming Princess cruise. It will only be my second with them. The worst cabin steward I had was on Princess but I am trying it again. The price and time was right with ports I was interested in. But in the future if another line ticks those boxes I will also go with them.

I have an older Go Pro and everything always comes out so bad. I remember even the commercials for the very first Go Pro the videos looked amazing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Your pics look better than mine. The only ones that came out good were in Hawaii in 5' of crystal clear water.

I loved all the quiches in the IC. Make sure to ask them to heat it for you! I enjoyed the fettucine everyone raves about but our cheese basket was very hard and inedible. Perhaps now that it's by request it will be "fresh"? Do they still serve lobster and escargot on the first formal night?

I can get to cabin selection but entire sections say sold out on my sailing when on my TA's website they are not.

I"m also Asian and i NEED to have chopsticks to eat certain dishes or else I don't feel right. I actually hate forks for noodles.

Are these offers mostly for slots or table games? My cousin got a free Princess cruise but from playing in Vegas, but they are going in Sept. Free inside for 2 but upgraded to balcony plus added the kids. I don't gamble but now thinking maybe I should set aside some money... LOL

We booked (but cancelled) an Alaska cruise with our then 2.5 yr old and I was going to bring the smaller stroller bc our everyday Uppababy was too wide to fit through narrow doorways. Measure your stroller/pram to make sure it can fit. It might not be a big deal for you but for me I really wanted to be able to roll our stroller into our cabin then take out the kid.

On my previous Celebrity cruise I sent an email to the dining room admin for that particular ship and requested a 2 top and he made it happen. Not sure who is the dining room admin for Apex though. I first sent a request to celebritydining@celebrity.com and it was unanswered. Someone here posted the exact admin and his direct email and he made it work. Got an answer within 24 hrs.

I do usually book first cruises after repo bc I have noticed crew are happy/new with the change in scenery and higher morale. So it would make sense the opposite at the end of one. I haven't had a last cruise before repo but you may be on to something.

A simple email to the agency last night asking what their policy was about pricing adjustments and I got a reply this morning. No issue, they adjusted my total and my OBC is still the same.

Are they both out of San Juan? I was going to book the Southern Carib out of SJ on Millie for Oct but the flights were ridiculous and the layovers were either 40 mins or 4+ hours. We decided to choose one that we could drive to the port. Didn't want to pay another $600-700pp for flights.

My cousin and her family love NCL bc of the things for kids to do and the freestyle everything. But a lot of main lines are doing a lot of "freestyle" or "my time dining" nowadays and most are a lot more casual now. I know NCL is pretty casual. I had booked a NCL cruise with her family for May but I ended up cancelling. Among one of the reasons was a lot of the cool things were an additional charge, such as the go cart racing track. And not cheap either. I don't know if RCCL has changed things but when I was on Allure, all the extra fun things (rock climbing, Flowrider, zipline, etc) were all included. NCL has those cool waterslides, and some of the newest Royal ships do too, but I just think the Flowrider is so cool. Lots of the older Royal ships have it too. I"m not loyal to any one line. For me I choose the itinerary/price first. Then I have my preferences for which line/ship and its amenities. Lastly I check what other ships will be in port the same day as the itinerary I'm looking at. It's not really fun to be in Cozumel with 5 other mega ships for example. It really makes a difference for something like a long tour to Tulum, where it's usually a huge cattle call. When I went it was practically empty with only one or two other ships in port that day. All that being said, my cousin's family ended up booking Princess this Sept bc it was the only one that had dates/price that fit in with her families schedule, and they also cancelled that NCL cruise. If you look at other lines you will have more choices if your schedule/dates are set in stone.

We have the basic fare from Princess where nothing is included. The only perk we got was $50 obc pp. Do they usually charge a rebooking fee?

I just checked my cruise and for my category room has dropped in price, but only $43pp. How many times and how often, or how much of a difference do you contact your TA and ask for an adjustment? I understand this may be just an OBC which I'm fine with. I'm before final payment.

I wonder if they took out Izumi? I'm looking at the deck plans on shipmate and it's now labeled "splash pool" next to the kids center. It was the round pool at the aft correct?

I have! No one is on my dates roll call. I created one and nobody else has joined yet. There was some confusion on my part bc this ship used to just do Japan I guess.

Thanks for this link. Very informative. I wonder if the menus/restaurants will offer the same during the Mexico/Baja sailings? I'm on one in Oct later this year. I'd love to have more asian food available. One thing that I really miss on cruises. Not that I eat congee for breakfast everyday at home, but it's nice to have the option.

If you live near an Asian grocery store, try there for ginger candies. It is literally dried ginger coated in sugar. It's not the gummies that are mostly gelatin. I have only been seasick once on a ship but I do get pretty bad motion sickness when I do spin pole (pole dancing) and the sea bands really help for me. Make sure they are tight enough. I have to buy the children's size to get them to fit tight enough.

Someone please correct me if I"m wrong but I am to understand that once you try to log on with your second device (your macbook) it will ask at log in if you want to disconnect the other device (your iphone).

OMG the update worked for me!!!! Thanks for noting there was an update. My phone didn't show it in my list of updates but when I searched for it directly it showed update available. I finally have all checkmarks and I'm green...for now. LOL
