  1. I watched the webinar about Asia. I can't remember the exact date but it was close to Christmas. It's my first PUP experience. How long does it take to be credited to my account?
  2. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope the dinner service gets better for you. In my experience, first night's dinner always seems to be the slowest and most chaotic. On our last cruise things got much better until the last night. Everything slowed down after the appetizer and it was kind of a bummer because we wanted to make it to a show. I didn't want to say anything to the serving team, but we really, really wanted to make it to the show. I asked my waiter if he thought we would have time to stay for dessert and still make the show. That's all it took for everything to speed up.
  3. Thanks for asking about this. . There's a lot of helpful information in this thread.
  4. I hope you have a great time! We just took our first Celebrity cruise last month. It was a big change after several cruises on family-focused fun ships. Aqua Class was sold out last time, so we're pretty excited about trying it this time.
  5. Friends of ours are very interested in joining us next year on the TA we have booked. I know the kind of thngs we did on our Hawaii cruise which included 5 sea days each way, and I'm guessing TA activities are similar, but it would be a big help to have an actual Daily Planner to share with them. TIA
  6. It looks like you're making my job easier. Questions 1 and 3 are ones I was going to ask.
  7. Thank you for the help and the heads up. I guess it isn't Celebrity-related except when I fly, I'm almost always on my way to a cruise port. A bit of a stretch, I know.
  8. Typically, I only fly 2 or 3 times a year. Every time I do, I swear I'm going to buy noise-canceling headphones. Can anyone recommend a set based on personal experience for someone like me who is not going to wear them that often and isn't ready to make a big investment?
  9. I know it's been several months since this thread's had any replies, but I just want to say, ditto on all this. I just took my first Frontier r/t flight -BWI to LAS. I have no complaints about their policies or my experience, but I came to the same conclusion about only considering Frontier for short flights. The nonstop flight to Vegas was 4.5 hours and a total grind. I'm only 5'1 and average built, but I felt pretty uncomfortable and cramped.
  10. Which Carnival ship were you on? My daughter and I took a last-minute cruise on the Elation, one Carnival's oldest ships, in May, and the buffet had a shockingly sparce selection compared to that on any other Carnival ship we had previously sailed. I'm not exaggerating when I say my high school cafeteria had a better selection. If that had been our first Carnival cruise, I would have been hard-pressed to take another one.
