  1. Not all tables are reserved in advance. They always leave some free for on board booking. On the Crown last month we ate at both Criwn Grill and Sabatini’s and neither were full. We did not make reservations in advance
  2. You can both share the WiFi but not at the same time. One device at a time
  3. Most pastas had no meat just a cheese or tomato sauce plus there are lots of veggie stations. The composed salads are mostly all non meat. There is usually one meat being sliced and one or two things to put over rice. On the Crown last month there were only 2 cold cuts ham or salami
  4. Another reason I am still using the old app
  5. Most ships back then had sit down pizzerias, buffets had more choices and sitting area, cookies were passed around the lido deck in the afternoon and you didn’t have to search around for places to sit on the lido and lunch menus changed daily with many choices
  6. Again I cruise mainly cruises with large stretches of sea days up to 8 days at a time. With a small buffet and only pizza slices and so so burgers and hot dogs (we do not eat chicken) and a never changing MDR menu there are few choices for meals. Bring back the old menus. Being served food in comfort is a big portion of why we have been cruising for 35 years
  7. And we cruise Alaska, Mexico, Panama with a little New England. For us the Royal class ships are just too big and too noisy with too small casinos. Each to his own
  8. Again that is a Royal class ship where the buffet is almost double the size of Grand class ships On the few occasions I sail Royal class I have used it on occasion but mostly sail Grand class due to itineraries and noise levels
  9. Half of those hot dishes will be vegetarian, sandwich’s are premade, only one meat being sliced and 4 different colored cheeses all taste alike. After 50 Princess cruises I avoid the buffet as much as possible
  10. Have you been in a Grand Class ship ? There is no vast array of food just I aisle of hot food maybe 8 things and very few places to sit down. All we want is to bring back the old lunch MDR menu. You mention hit sandwich’s on lido where ? The grill kas hot dog, burger and chicken again no change day to day
  11. No. One or cabin except for full suites
  12. On most Princess ships there are few lunch options You have the buffet (super crowded and poor food choices), Pizza and burger on deck. Again same things everyday and both are your only option on port days. On most grand class ships that is it for lunch except for the premade sandwiches at IC
  13. We have always had our medallions at least 10 days prior to sailing
  14. Maybe someone is not counting the waters
  15. On land I do not eat in the same restaurant day after day. If I am on a 16 day Hawaii like I am on in April that is 11 days with basically the same menu. On land I may eat lunch out maybe a maximum of 8 days and will utilize at least 4-5 different restaurants
  16. Just going by experience. 6 cruises and never have shown a boarding pass
  17. Thee is no need for any boarding pass. Your medallion is your entry to the ship
  18. Things like Vines, Alfredo’s, Sushi bar and Salty Dog now carry a fee. If you have the plus package you get 2 per person per cruise. Premiere is unlimited. If you have no package it is $14.95
  19. Every ship is different and perhaps even every cruise can be different. I would not make any assumptions
  20. The new app shows me as a new cruiser somehow even though I have 50 cruises
  21. I was referring to the Crab Shack on the Crown Princess
  22. It is considered a specialty dinner and they were taking reservations
  23. It was always dinner on the Crown
