Mini suites have never been confused ability full suites on any Princess documentation. The Reserve minis do get reserve class dining which is way better than regular MDR and some wine on embarkation

We then ask questions about what ingredients are used We are not going to be bound to ordering a day in advance when we have no idea how we will feel the next day. Also many servers and managers have no idea what is in some dishes. For instance the chocolate sauce for desserts often contains peanuts I mean do you actually go through this process in land based restaurants ?

They moved the “regular” dinners to Botticelli on most ships to avoid the issue with people being told to wait for breakfast and lunch who see empty tables in reserve and then try to walk in there. I saw that on several cruises and it was a real problem for the hosts

Why does everyone freak out about specialty dining. We have been on 60 Princess cruises and have never booked in advance. There are always tables that can be had while on board. It also helps if you eat after 7:00
